Welcome to SceneSage.
My name is Tamron Jewell and I am honored to have you join me as we focus on something vitally important,
Self-love.
As we begin today.
Find a comfortable position.
You may be seated.
Or lying down.
Whatever it is that your body is asking of you in this moment.
Once you're comfortable,
Let your shoulders drop down.
And again,
Drop your shoulders away from your ears.
Let the jaw unclench.
Even if it's just a bit.
Now join me as we allow a nourishing breath.
In through our nose.
And then let it go.
Again.
Breathing in soft,
Quiet space as we inhale.
And as you exhale.
Release the need to do anything at all.
Beautifully,
There is nowhere else you need to be right now.
There's nothing you need to fix or figure out.
You are exactly where you are meant to be.
Gently place one hand over your heart.
And the other on your belly if that feels good.
And as you do.
Feel the presence.
Of your own beautiful body.
Your own messy yet luminous life.
Feel your heart beating beneath your palms.
So steady and always faithful.
Your heart has been doing this quiet work for you every single day.
Through every season.
Every triumph.
Through every shadow.
It's continuous.
It's faithful.
And it's loyal.
Without you ever reminding it to be so.
That is love.
It's already here,
Built right into your skin and bones.
Sometimes that heavy thought sharp memory.
Or a wave of anxiety drops right into the middle of our day.
We feel it suddenly.
Sometimes it even feels like a shock.
The familiar ache tightening in our chest or stomach.
That's all too familiar in those times.
But maybe.
.
.
Our habit is to chase that feeling.
Or to fight that feeling.
Or to let it define us.
But right now?
We're going to choose a different way.
We are choosing grace.
It doesn't mean we're not going to stop.
Or at least try to stop the feeling from happening.
But it does mean that we'll allow the feeling.
Will acknowledge the feeling.
And then.
.
.
If you can step back into awareness.
And just.
.
.
Notice.
You'll still have the feeling.
It's allowed.
And it is welcome here.
But see if you can just step back and simply notice it.
Without letting it pull you under.
No need to argue with it.
No need to fix it.
Just allow that feeling to exist.
And then no.
It too is going to pass.
You.
Are the steady presence watching it.
Nothing more.
Let's use our gentle boundary together right now.
You can whisper it silently in your heart as I say it aloud.
Help me see it,
Not be it.
Gently and easily.
Help me see it.
And not be it.
Gently.
.
.
And easily.
Old pain,
Overwhelmed,
Busy mind.
They will all visit sometimes,
And we know they do.
That is the grit of being human.
But imagine them.
As visitors passing through.
You are not your feelings,
And they're not here to stay for good.
Visitors passing through.
That's how we think of our feelings.
And here's a few more gentle loving.
Suggestions.
Feel free to listen.
Or to repeat.
In your heart as I say them aloud.
I am the one watching this experience.
I am not the experience itself.
I see the overwhelm.
And still,
I choose peace.
Gently,
Easily,
I hold myself with absolute kindness.
Underneath the busy thoughts,
Underneath the roles we play and the caregiving everyone else.
There is a quiet sanctuary inside of you.
It's perfectly steady.
It's perfectly whole.
Trust it.
Trust it being there for you.
Self-love isn't about pretending the hard things aren't there.
It's trusting that you are strong enough to witness them.
Soft enough to feel them.
And wise enough to let them pass.
You are not the storm,
Dear friend.
You are the steady,
Beautiful sky that holds it all.
Take one more slow,
Deep breath.
Feel the rise.
And the fall of your chest beneath your hands.
And let it go.
Carry this soft,
Grounded peace.
Back in your day.
You are doing beautiful work.
It's time to bring a little movement back into your fingers and toes.
Open your eyes if they were closed.
And remember.
You are the steady,
Beautiful sky.
That holds it all.
It's an honor that you joined me for this meditation.
I'd love any feedback you might be willing to share.
With love from my heart.
Tamron Jewel.
