Hi,
Namaste.
The divine in me recognizes and beholds the divine in you.
Thank you so much for joining me for this quick demonstration of ujjayi breathing.
Ujjayi means victorious breath.
And it sounds like the ocean if you have a slight constriction in the back of your throat or if you picture like you're fogging a mirror.
With a slight constriction in the back of your throat,
You should be able to hear it within your auric field.
But not outside of it to where it's too loud.
The purpose of it is to be able to notice and bring awareness to your breath for pranayama practice.
Which is universal life force control of pranic energy.
It helps to clear out chronic blockages.
Release anxiety,
Release stress.
Bring mental clarity and overall sense of well-being and connection to your mind,
Body,
And spirit.
So if you would like,
And it's a great practice to put a hand on your heart and a hand on your stomach.
And as you take a deep breath in.
With that slight constriction in the back.
And release with a slight constriction.
Thank you for joining me.
I hope that you find that ujjayi breathing supports in your daily life,
In your pranayama practice,
And in your asana practice.
