In today's track we will be going over affirmations to help ourselves feel safe in our bodies.
Wherever you're at,
Go ahead and take a deep breath in.
Start to tune in to the present moment and allow yourself to be here now.
You might like to place your hands on your heart or another part of your body that brings you comfort.
Go ahead and repeat these affirmations out loud if you're able or you can do so in your head.
I am safe in my body.
I am safe in my body.
I am safe in my body.
It is safe for me to feel my feelings.
It is safe for me to feel my feelings.
It is safe for me to feel my feelings.
No matter what is going on outside of me,
I am safe in my body.
No matter what is going on outside of me,
I am safe in my body.
No matter what is going on outside of me,
I am safe in my body.
Continue to feel into these affirmations and what they feel like in your body.
You can start to connect with what safety truly feels like for you.
You might feel it as a sensation or see it as a specific color.
I hope that you carry this with you throughout your day and remind yourself that no matter what happens,
No matter what thoughts arise,
No matter what circumstances you face,
You get to choose to focus on the present moment and remind yourself that you are here and you are safe.
