Hello everyone, This is Tara, And I'm so grateful to have shared a year-long journey in alignment with growth and reflection on several inspiring topics. Several moons ago, Ipek and I joined forces with a common interest to explore and share personal inspirations and insights. As we begin today's closing cycle for this journey, I chose the following quote that I'll share now. We cannot be enlightened through any organization, Creed, Dogma, Priest, Or ritual, Nor through any philosophical knowledge or psychological technique. We have to find it through understanding the contents of our own mind, Through observation, Not through intellectual analysis or introspective dissection. End quote. Radhanath Swami, By The Journey Home. Ipek, I welcome your perspective on the path we've shared on our journey home. First of all, Tara, Thank you for this really insightful quote that you shared. I really love it. Throughout this series with Tara, I have experienced a profound personal transformation, And each episode has not only been a journey of shared knowledge and exploration, But also a deeply personal exploration of my own growth and evolving perspectives. As we delved into themes of creativity, Vulnerability, And the limitless possibilities of life, I found myself re-evaluating my own values and the purpose that drives me. One of the most significant realizations for me has been understanding the dynamic nature of personal values. They are not fixed but evolve as we grow and learn. This evolution has been particularly evident as I engaged with Tara in deep, Meaningful conversations that challenged me to think differently and more expansively. The power of vulnerability stood out as a theme that profoundly impacted me. Sharing my own experiences of overcoming barriers and embracing opportunities for growth allowed me to connect with others on a deeper level, And it opened up pathways for genuine connection and growth, Not just for myself, But for our listeners who joined us on this journey. Interconnectedness has also been a key takeaway for me. It's been empowering to realize how our discussions, Our shared insights, And even our moments of vulnerability have the potential to ripple out and influence others. This has imbued a sense of responsibility and excitement in me, Reinforcing the impact that thoughtful, Intentional living can have on a community and beyond. So, Reflecting on this series, I am inspired by the changes in my own perspective and am eager to see how this renewed understanding of my values and purpose will shape my future actions. How can I use this insight to not only enrich my own life but also to inspire and uplift those around me? This is the question I carry forward, A beacon that will guide my future endeavors, And I hope the listeners will do the same. Wow, Thank you, Ipek. That was a very, Very thoughtful reflection on the many series that we've done together. And I agree, How we show up for ourselves and others really requires us to be mindful and willing to reframe perspective for transformations. Making assumptions before thinking about what the truth really is has been one of my key awakenings. And also, Having compassion and love for myself really enables me to do the same for others. My journey home is the ongoing development of a kind-centered heart, Mind, And body. Wisdom is acquired awareness over a lifetime of learning and experiences, While our mindset tunes receptivity. And I was receptive to the following key points I recently saw that were shared from a talk with an Indian spiritual leader, Guru Dev, Who offered his wisdom and perspective, As follows. 1. Rather than being a relentless seeker of truth, Be still so that truth can find you. 2. The truth is all around you, But you have to quiet your mind and open your heart to recognize it when it comes. 3. Pay attention to the world around you, Which is full of quiet beauty, Through mindful meditation. 4. What perturbs you and makes being found impossible is the attention-grabbing distractions of worldly idols like money, Power, And fame. 5. Suffering is natural and can be your teacher, But don't turn that into an idol either through a victim mentality. So with that food for thought, I thank you again, Ipek, For sharing your insights and accompanying me on this leg of this life journey. Thank you.
