
Theta Light Activation
A gentle meditation to naturally guide you into a relaxed theta state. Reconnect and reignite the inifite light energy within, and all round you to help activate the light essence within your mind, body and soul. At the end of the meditation, you can drift into sleep or gently reawaken yourself to go about your day.

Close your eyes now,
And take in three deep breaths,
Drawing the breath in through your nose and deep into your belly.
Releasing gently through the back of the mouth,
Fully emptying the lungs as you exhale.
That's it,
Breathing in and out.
One last time now,
Drawing the breath in through the nose,
Deep into the belly.
Before gently and effortlessly releasing.
And now let the breath find its own natural rhythm as you allow yourself to settle into this moment.
There is nowhere else to be and nothing else to do other than to be right here,
Right now.
And you have permission to do absolutely nothing,
To step away from the outside world of doing and striving.
For this is your time now,
Time for you to rest and relax.
So just take a moment now to check in with your body and see if you could be a shade more comfortable in whatever position you are resting in.
Let the shoulders drop away from the ears.
Let the arms rest comfortably by your sides.
Allow the hips to sink into the space beneath them and the ankles to roll out into their natural position.
Just allow the ground beneath you to take the full weight of your body as you prepare to journey into the safe space of rest.
So just take your awareness to rest on your breath now and begin to notice the gentle rise and fall of your belly as you breathe in and out.
There's no need to change or control the breath in any way.
You're simply watching as the air moves in and out,
Soft and slow.
And as you follow the natural ebb and flow of your breath,
Feel how your body begins to soften further.
Letting go of all effort,
Of strain and control as it commits to rest now.
And even the busyness of the mind begins to fade away too.
The to-do lists,
The worries,
The cares and concerns,
Let them drift away from you with the breath.
For in this moment,
They serve you no purpose whatsoever.
It is safe to let them go.
And notice how your outer and inner worlds are calming now,
Slowing further and further down as you choose to let go of all the busyness,
The silent judgments and self-criticisms.
And as you continue to follow the breath,
You feel the last of any tension in your feet,
Ankles,
Calves and thighs slipping away now,
Relaxing deeper and deeper as they merge with the space beneath them.
Your hips,
Buttocks,
Pelvis releasing the last of any tightness,
Resting deeper and deeper.
And you feel your back,
Shoulders and neck all softening and relaxing now,
Sinking further and further back into the space beneath them.
The arms,
Hands and fingers soft and loose,
And the last of any tension released with the breath now,
As the whole body rests heavy yet weightless,
Calm and connected.
And the muscles in your scalp,
Brow and jaw all release and soften now.
And you feel your eyes drifting further and further back into the field of natural darkness.
And you find your inner gaze softening now,
Expanding,
Beginning to open up to sense all of the space to the left of you.
Sensing all of the space to the right of you,
The space above you and below you.
Sensing the infinite space that you occupy,
The infinite space of rest and healing.
And as you surrender to this moment,
And all the ones that will follow,
It's time to allow your awareness to guide you to a place of serenity.
So take your awareness gently to the top of your head now.
And as it settles,
You start to notice a light,
A soft spiraling light just above your crown.
Now you don't have to physically see this light,
Just a sense,
A knowing or an intention that it is there,
Is all that you need.
So allow your awareness to follow this light now.
As you begin to sense it,
See it or feel it caressing the top of your head,
And you begin to notice a gentle tingling in your scalp.
As it begins to softly push down through your crown,
Moving inside your head,
You sense the power of this light energy soothing deep behind your brow,
Your eyes,
Your cheeks and jaw.
This soft spiraling light filling all the pockets of space inside your head,
As it gently spirals round and down,
Drifting down inside the neck,
Soothing the neck.
You begin to feel this light energy expanding as it begins to spiral down now,
Deep beneath the shoulders.
Sense this soft spiraling light soothing and easing your shoulders,
Softly and slowly spiraling down,
Down through the upper arms,
Through the elbows,
The forearms,
Through the wrists,
Hands and fingers.
You sense this soft spiraling light energy expanding throughout your arms,
Pushing away stagnancy and expanding into all the pockets of space.
As you follow this soft spiraling light now,
Back to your neck,
As it begins to gently move down and around your spine,
You sense it moving down your spine.
Around each and every vertebrae,
Expanding out into your upper back,
Into your chest,
Spiraling down the spine,
Expanding into the mid-back.
To the abdomen,
Spiraling round and down,
Expanding out,
Out into the lower back and deep,
Deep into the belly.
You sense this soft spiraling light energy gently pulsating throughout your upper body now.
Enjoy these feelings,
These sensations as you follow this soft,
Gentle energy down into your hips,
Deep,
Deep into your pelvis.
And you feel it moving through your hips,
Through your pelvis,
Beginning to spiral down deep inside the legs.
Moving down and around inside the legs,
Through the thighs,
The backs of the legs.
And you sense it expanding,
Filling your entire upper legs with its soft pulsating energy,
As it continues to spiral down deep beneath the knees,
Down into the lower legs.
Caressing the calves,
The shins,
And spiraling down and down into the ankles.
And moving through the feet now,
Deep,
Deep inside the feet,
You feel this light spiraling,
Filling your entire feet with its soft pulsating energy.
Moving into the toes and all the pockets of space between.
And you begin to sense,
Sense this soft spiraling light moving out through the soles of your feet and down,
Down into the earth beneath them.
And you follow this light,
This spiraling energy as it travels deeper and deeper into the earth beneath you,
Till it reaches the very core of the earth,
Wrapping itself around the core of the earth,
Grounding you from above to below.
And you begin to sense a heightened energy now,
Traveling back,
Back along this spiraling light,
Moving back through the earth,
Into your feet.
And you allow this energy now to move through your entire body,
And you sense it cleansing and clearing away any heaviness,
Stagnancy.
Welcome this energy into your body,
Allowing it to expand fully and freely throughout your entire body.
And you sense it moving even deeper,
Deep into the organs,
Into the blood that travels effortlessly throughout your body.
And you sense it moving,
Pulsating deep,
Deep inside yourselves,
Down to the very fiber of your being.
And you sense yourself glowing,
Strengthening from the inside out.
And as you allow this light energy to move through you,
You sense your healing activated.
So spend a few moments now allowing this light,
This soft pulsating energy,
To move to wherever it needs to move to,
Deep inside your body.
Allow it to cleanse,
To clear,
And allow it to heal and restore.
It's time nearly to bring this sitting to an end.
But remember,
You are always connected,
Connected to this soft,
Spiraling light energy.
A soft,
Spiraling energy that is forever present within and all around you.
It is there,
Ready and waiting for you to reconnect and reignite.
So as you begin now to let go of any visualization,
You slowly start to become aware of the breath once more.
You start to notice the gentle rise and fall of your chest and your belly as the air moves in and out of your body.
And as you follow your breath,
You start to notice all the points of contact between your body and the surface beneath it.
And as you allow yourself to slowly return,
Your body will remain calm and rested,
Your cells reactivated.
So just take some time now to wriggle those toes,
Wriggle those fingers,
And allow your body to softly reawaken bit by bit.
And then whenever you're ready,
Take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in.
And then gently let that go,
Opening your eyes and bringing your awareness back into the here and now.
Keep shining.
