Take some time to get comfortable now.
Preferably lying down and let's take three long slow deep breaths in and out.
Breathing in through the nose,
Taking that breath through the body and then gently releasing through the mouth.
Breathing in through the nose,
Letting the breath expand deep inside your body,
Gently exhaling through the mouth.
And once more now,
Breathing in through the nose,
Letting that breath fill every pocket of space in your body and then gently releasing through the mouth.
You have permission to rest now,
To relax and replenish.
So allow your shoulders to drop away from your ears.
Let your hips sink into the space beneath them.
Feel your legs softening as your ankles roll out into their natural position.
Your arms loose and relaxed by your sides.
Your hands and fingers soft and unclenched.
Just allow the ground beneath you to support the whole weight of your body now.
As you feel your forehead relaxing,
Your jaw unclenching and the last of any tension softly floating away.
As your entire body rests deeper and deeper.
Safe and supported.
With your body soft and relaxed,
Allow your awareness to float to your breath now.
Noticing the gentle rise and fall of your chest as the air moves in and out.
Just notice that breath,
Its natural ebb and flow.
And in a moment,
You're going to take each breath deep into the body to cleanse and ground.
You don't have to force or exert any effort in doing this.
Just a gentle intention that the breath will move to wherever my voice directs it to.
And you may begin to see colours,
Feel a warmth or a tingle as you move the breath around your body.
There's no need to analyse or judge.
Just simply be aware.
So when you're ready,
Imagine that breath flowing deep into the heart centre,
Into the midpoint of the chest.
Sense that breath build at the heart centre with each natural inhalation.
And then notice your body becoming softer and softer with each natural exhalation.
Now sense that breath moving into the belly,
Deep,
Deep into the belly.
Expanding with each natural inhalation.
With each natural exhalation.
You feel your body sinking further and further into the space beneath it.
Breathing into your sacral area now.
Sense the breath building deep inside your pelvis.
Releasing any tension or tightness as the hips drop further and further into the safe space of rest.
Building and releasing with each unique cycle.
And then take that breath into the legs and the feet now.
Allowing the breath to flood your legs,
Your feet and your toes.
And with each soft,
Gentle exhalation,
You sense your legs relaxing more and more.
Becoming heavier and heavier as they too sink into the space beneath them.
And you feel your lower body now becoming heavy yet weightless.
Breathe into the heart centre again now.
Feeling that breath expanding up into the shoulders and into the neck.
Down into the arms,
The hands and the fingers.
The last of any tension or tightness slipping away.
Any knots beginning to melt and dissipate.
As your shoulders,
Neck,
Arms,
Hands and fingers become soft and relaxed.
Releasing the last of tension and tightness.
Just allow yourself to breathe into the whole body now.
That natural cycle of breath moving through the entire body.
As a warm wave of relaxation sweeps through you.
From your head,
To your toes,
To your fingers.
And as you exhale,
You release the last of any stagnancy.
Any stale,
Dense energy.
So welcome in this wave of relaxation now with each natural cycle of breath.
Feel that breath sweeping throughout your entire body.
Infusing every cell with a pure,
Cleansing light.
Your whole body surrendering to the space beneath it now.
With each and every natural exhalation.
Going deeper and deeper.
Heavy yet weightless,
Safe and supported.
And you begin to sense that breath lighting up every cell of your body now.
Cleansing and releasing.
Bringing balance to your mind,
Body and soul.
And now,
As you rest deeply in the presence of your being.
Perfectly aligned with this moment.
Just allow your awareness to gently guide you.
To wherever it needs to be.
