Welcome.
Thank you.
Come on in.
I would like to tell you a story called The Star Inside the Steering Wheel.
It's a story about trusting your inner guide.
Once upon a time,
Not far and not near,
Lived Luna who wondered,
Am I doing this right,
My dear?
Every path looked twisty,
Some narrow,
Some wide,
And Luna felt wobbly way down deep inside.
Then pop!
Buzzed a glowbug,
All golden and small,
Who hummed,
Not with answers,
But warmth most of all.
Glowbug said nothing,
Just floated and glowed,
As if saying,
You're carried.
You already are on the road.
Luna tripped sideways and fell with a thud.
Oh no,
Cried Luna.
I've messed up for good.
Glowbug giggled,
A soft little sound,
And drew tiny circles right there on the ground.
Every step teaches,
The humming seemed to say,
Even the ones that wobble you off your way.
Deep in Luna's middle,
A shimmer appeared,
A warm little knowing that softened the fear.
It wasn't a map and it wasn't a rule.
It felt like a star inside a steering wheel.
When Luna relaxed and loosened the grip,
The path gently changed a natural shift.
No pushing and no forcing,
No must get it right.
Just listening inward and walking by the light.
Sometimes Luna rushed,
Sometimes went slow.
The star never left,
It would always glow.
Even in darkness,
When nothing felt clear,
The glowbug hum softly,
Your guide is still here.
Mistakes became messages and bumps became turns.
Every experience,
Something that learns.
Soon Luna noticed in others as well,
A glow in their middles,
A story to tell.
Some stars felt shy and some felt strong.
Some needed quiet to sing their song.
Luna never told them which way they should go.
Just said,
Try relaxing,
Your star already knows.
And so the world widened,
Not perfect,
But kind.
A place for the heart and a curious mind.
When doubts came knocking,
As doubts sometimes do,
Luna would breathe and let kindness come through.
The glowbug still hummed and then drifted away.
Though maybe it stayed,
Who's to say?
Because once you remember that light deep inside,
You're never alone on the turn of the tide.
No need to be perfect and no need to pretend.
You're guided from within again and again.
Your star is not broken.
Your path is not wrong.
Just soften and listen and hum along.
