Welcome Traveller,
My name is Frequency and I am so happy you are joining me on this SRB Studios journey.
This session is designed for headphones.
If you need to pause here to get them,
Please do so.
Also,
Please don't listen while driving.
Walking near traffic or doing anything that needs your full attention.
Because we will be experiencing binaural beats and sound waves,
If you feel dizzy,
Anxious or uncomfortable at any point,
You should lower the volume or stop.
Find a comfortable position sitting with your spine straight or lying down.
Let your hands rest where they fall naturally,
Let your eyes close,
No need to control anything,
No need to do meditation correctly.
Today we are not doing the usual,
I am not going to ask you to follow your breath,
No,
We are following something older,
Something that resonates inside you,
Your heartbeat.
Bring your attention to your chest,
Not as an idea,
As a place.
Feel for the pulse,
Maybe it's obvious,
Maybe it's sucking,
Either way is perfect.
If you can't feel it clearly at first,
That's ok,
Just place your attention there,
Like you are listening through the inside of your body,
Let your heart beat set the pace,
Not fast,
Not slow,
Just true.
You may begin to notice a tone,
A single tone,
Steady,
Clear,
Simple.
Let it arrive without analysis.
Now a second tone joins it,
Two tones,
Close together,
Like two distant stars holding their positions in the same sky.
You don't have to chase them,
Just notice,
One and the other,
And underneath it all,
Your heartbeat,
A third rhythm,
The one that matters most.
Now the tones separate,
One to the left ear,
One to the right,
And between them something begins to form,
Not a new sound exactly,
More like a space,
A gentle pulse,
A slow wave.
Let that wave happen on its own,
You don't need to force it,
You don't need to imagine anything,
Just keep a soft awareness on the heartbeat and allow the tones to do what tones do.
And now listen.
Notice decoration.
Notice background.
Skies.
They don't rush,
They don't explain.
They don't argue with the ocean.
They move with a kind of ancient certainty,
And they invite your nervous system to remember that same certainty.
Let your attention rest on the whale song,
As if you're following a trail only you can hear.
As you listen,
Notice what begins to soften,
Not because you commanded it,
But because your body recognizes safety.
Let the heartbeat be your anchor.
Let the whales be your direction.
If thoughts appear,
That's fine,
Let them float,
No wrestling,
No fixing.
Return to three simple things,
The left tone,
The right tone,
And the steady truth of your heart.
Somewhere between the tones,
A slower rhythm emerges.
Not as effort,
As companionship.
You don't need pictures,
You don't need a story.
Just sound,
And the sense of being guided by something calm,
Intelligent,
And vast.
If you notice emotion,
Let it move like water moves.
No label required.
Not dramatic,
Just a quiet alignment,
As if something in you is moving.
The tones may still be present,
The whales may still be singing.
Let them fade into the background of your awareness,
Like wise guides walking you back to shore.
Drink some water if you can.
And if you want to return to this state later,
You already know the way.
Heartbeat.
Whales.
