Welcome.
Take a slow breath in.
And a long breath out.
Again,
Breathe in.
And let go.
Slowly.
Let your shoulders rest.
And let your body settle.
Nothing to fix right now.
Nothing to figure out.
Just this breath and this moment.
We are making space for a feeling many of us experience.
But rarely talk about.
Jealousy.
Envy.
Comparison.
It is a feeling when someone has something we wish we could.
It could be a relationship.
An opportunity.
Success.
Recognition.
And a life that seems easier.
You don't need to push this feeling away.
You don't need to justify.
For the next few minutes.
Simply allow it to be here.
Slowly,
Bring to mind the situation.
Lightly,
Gently,
Not the entire story.
Just enough to notice the feeling.
Where do you feel it in your body?
Perhaps your chest?
Your stomach.
Your truth.
Notice it without changing anything.
Take breath into that space.
Not to make it disappear,
But to make room for it.
We tell ourselves,
I shouldn't feel this.
But feelings are not mistakes,
They are experiences.
Visitors and messages.
And right now,
This feeling is asking to be heard.
Notice if there is anger here,
Frustration,
Resentment.
A sense that life has been unfair.
See if you can simply acknowledge it.
There is anger here.
Nothing more,
Nothing less.
And beneath the angle.
Perhaps,
Something softer.
Disappointment,
Sadness,
Long gain.
Fear.
Perhaps there is a part of you that wonders,
Will it ever happen for me?
Place a hand over your heart if that feels comfortable,
And take a slow breath in.
And breathe out.
Remember,
You do not need to judge yourself.
You do not need to be the bigger person.
You only need to be honest.
Gently ask yourself,
What am I longing for?
Not what they have,
But what it represents.
Love.
Freedom.
Recognition,
Security.
Connect She.
Or purpose.
Jealousy often points towards something important.
Not because someone else has it,
But because your heart values it.
For a moment,
Let the other person fade into the background.
This moment is not about them.
It's about you.
Your hopes,
Dreams,
And path.
Imagine turning your attention away from their life and back to your own.
Like coming home.
Perhaps some of this feeling is old.
You've overlooked it before.
Compared before.
Not chosen before,
Or not seen before.
If a younger version of you comes to mind,
Just sit beside them.
No advice.
No fixing.
Only kindness.
Let them hear these words.
You don't need to earn your worth.
You don't need to compete for it.
You don't need to prove it.
Take a deep breath in.
And as you breathe out,
Release the belief that someone else's success says anything about your value.
Someone else's light does not dim yours.
Someone else's path is not your path.
Your life is unfolding in its own way,
At its own pace.
Perhaps not on your timeline.
But still unfolding.
Now repeat silently.
I can want more.
And still be grateful for what is here.
I can admire without comparing.
I am enough in this moment.
Feel those words settling.
No need to force them.
Just let them rest within you.
Take one final deep breath in.
And slowly exhale.
Allow the body to soften.
The mind to quiet.
And return to the simple rhythm of breathing.
And remember.
The goal is to never feel any way.
The goal is not to never feel any way.
The goal is to meet it with awareness.
And let it guide you back to yourself.
Feeling anyway is being human.
But how you deal with it matters.
When you ready.
Gently wingle your fingers.
Move your toes.
Importantly,
Carry forward a little more self-compassion.
A little more trust.
And a little less comparison.
Thank you for practicing with me today.
And remember,
This space is always there for you.
Take care,
And have a wonderful day.
