This 3-minute meditation is designed to draw you to the present moment, by centering the breath and settling the attention on a few layers of bodily awareness. This meditation was developed on New Year's Day during the middle of the pandemic and is meant to guide participants gently to their current needs while exploring the Buddhist idea of impermanence.

Transcript

Welcome to this grounding meditation.

I am your host Remedy Eileen.

Getting as comfortable as you can,

Whether lying down or in seated,

I'll allow you to take a few moments to collect your breath and to simply listen to the following words.

Breathing in and breathing out.

Remember you have a body.

Breathe that in and let it go.

Remember that you have the earth beneath your feet.

Breathe that in and let it go.

Remember that you have a soul.

Breathe that in and let it go.

Now remember whatever you need to remember in this moment.

Breathe that in and let it go.
