Before the others wake,
And before the wants and needs of the day ahead grasp for your hand,
I invite you to take a pause.
As you shake off last night's sleep,
But still resting in the comfortable silence of twilight,
Allow your body and mind to remain softly cocooned in the space between both worlds.
Here is where we allow ourselves to dream of all that is possible,
Where fantasy and reality merge and where desires are created.
Here is where we honour our body,
Allowing it a few more minutes of delicious rest before the light of morning calls our name.
Here is where we hear our breath,
Deep,
Cleansing and nourishing,
The only sound apart from the birdsong and the rustle of the breeze.
Thoughts of the day ahead come and go,
Only to be replaced by a delicious feeling of contentment and safety.
This is a feeling we will carry in our bellies as we move softly through the day.
Here is where judgement still sleeps,
Where all is one,
Where the veil is thin and the sun and the moon dance together.
Take a deep breath,
My love,
And allow yourself a moment's rest before you move into movement as the wonderful human you are.
Today is a new gift for you to step into,
Forgiving mistakes,
Allowing falls and offering a kind heart to all you encounter.
For each one is you,
And you are we,
Let's guide each other home with patience and love.
