You are allowed to be incomplete,
Not finished,
Not resolved,
Not fully formed yet.
Many of us carry a quiet urgency to arrive somewhere,
To close loops,
To settle feelings,
To finally feel done with something.
Notice if there's a part of you that feels uncomfortable with things remaining open.
The sense that you should understand more by now,
Have clarity by now,
Feel settled by now,
That pressure can be settled.
It doesn't always sound harsh,
Sometimes it sounds reasonable,
Sometimes it sounds like responsibility,
But incompleteness is not a failure,
It is a natural state of being alive,
Nothing in life arrives fully formed.
Growth happens while things are still open.
See if you can let this moment remain unfinished,
Without rushing it toward understanding,
Without forcing a conclusion.
You do not need to bring this experience to completion in order to rest.
Some things settle,
Only remain left open.
Notice what it feels like to stop reaching closure,
To allow yourself to be mid-process,
Without pressure.
You are allowed to live inside the coming,
Without trying to arrive.
