Our phones and devices help us stay connected, informed and entertained, but being constantly available to messages, notifications, news and scrolling can leave the mind feeling overloaded. In this talk and guided practice, we explore why switching off can feel surprisingly difficult and why creating even a short period each day without digital input can give the mind some much-needed breathing space. You’ll then be guided through a calming practice to step away from the constant stream of information, reconnect with your body and surroundings, and experience what it feels like to simply be present without needing to check, respond or consume anything new. A gentle reminder that you don’t need to disconnect from technology completely. Sometimes twenty minutes of space is enough.
