Pelican

High above the pelican soars, observing far and wide, searching for a place to settle. Below she sees a slowly moving river flanked by ancient river gums. Gently, gently she glides toward the earth, wings spread wide. Coasting just above the water she sees a beautiful place ahead and with an imperceptible movement of her wings her body touches down.

I can make out something which seems like a guitar, playing softly, but the predominant sound is what appears to be a flute?
If it is a flute, what type of flute is it?
