Welcome to this meditation,

Designed to help you connect with your chakras,

Guiding you to feel whole and at peace with yourself and life.

To start,

Close your eyes and breathe naturally through your nose.

Become aware of your whole body,

Paying attention to how you're feeling,

You're not trying to change anything,

Just become aware.

Now shift your attention to the base of your spine,

This is where your root chakra is located.

Imagine a red light glowing here,

Representing security,

Stability and groundedness.

Breathe deeply into this chakra,

Feeling sensations of security and stability flow through your body connecting with the earth.

Allow this light to expand through your body,

Grounding you and bring this chakra into balance.

Move your attention up your spine to just below your navel,

This is your sacral chakra.

Visualise an orange light symbolising creativity,

Pleasure and emotional flow.

With each breath,

Imagine this light expanding and filling your lower abdomen with feelings of joy,

Creativity and pleasure.

Feel this light radiating through your body,

Harmonising your emotions as this chakra comes into balance.

Shift your attention to your upper abdomen,

This is your solar plexus chakra.

Picture a yellow light representing confidence,

Personal power and purpose.

Direct your breath into this chakra,

Feeling its light radiate strength and confidence through your body.

Feel this light grow stronger in your body,

Enabling feelings of purpose and bring this chakra into balance.

Now bring your awareness to the centre of your chest,

To the heart chakra.

Visualise a green light symbolising love,

Compassion and connection.

Breathe deeply into this chakra,

Sending loving sensations to yourself and others.

Feel this light expand outwards,

Opening your heart and bringing this chakra into balance.

Direct your attention to your throat,

Uncovering your throat chakra.

Picture a blue light representing communication and truth.

Breathe deeply into this chakra,

Feeling its light expand through your throat,

Enabling clear communication.

Feel this light grow stronger,

Giving you the confidence to express your truth as this chakra comes into balance.

Move your focus to the space between your eyebrows to locate your third eye chakra.

Visualise an indigo light symbolising intuition,

Insight and inner knowing.

With each breath,

Imagine this light opening your mind to new perspectives.

As this light grows brighter,

Feel your inner wisdom awakening,

Bringing this chakra into balance.

Finally,

Focus on the top of your head,

Picture a violet or white light representing your crown chakra.

Breathe deeply into this chakra,

Allowing its light to connect you with something greater than yourself.

Feel this light expanding,

Connecting you with a deep sense of peace and oneness with the universe as this chakra comes into balance.

As we come to the final moments of this meditation,

Take a moment to sit with this feeling of balance and wholeness.

To gently transition out of this meditation,

Begin by tuning into the sounds around you,

Anchoring yourself in the present moment.

Wiggle your fingers and toes,

Becoming aware of the surface beneath you.

Feel your breath,

Steady and calm,

As it flows in and out.

When you feel ready,

Slowly open your eyes,

Carrying with you feelings of balance and peace into the rest of your day.
