Transcript

Hello and welcome back to today's meditation.

Find a comfortable position.

What we want is the most comfortable,

The least effort possible.

Focus on the sensation of cool air coming into your nose,

And warm air going out.

Imagine yourself in a space,

Bathed in a warm golden glow.

There's a gentle breeze,

And the air around you shimmers softly.

It carries with it a sense of magic and potential.

This place is radiant,

It's a place to heal,

And it's completely safe.

So sink into this space.

Everything is slowing down.

We can trust that life is on our side here,

And we can completely relax.

Now,

Curl your lips into a shape as if you were drinking through a straw,

And as you take a breath,

Slowly sip in a golden light and feel it move to the top of your head.

The crown of your head.

A gold light is filling it up,

And this area begins to glow.

As you exhale,

You breathe out a dark smoke.

Breathing through your nose now,

Bring your attention to your ears.

See the light move down either side of your head and rest here.

As you exhale,

Not controlling it too intensely,

See dark smoke leave your body.

Now it moves to your face,

The front of your head.

As you breathe in,

The golden light intensifies.

Feel it moving down your forehead,

Softening your brow,

Relaxing your eyes.

With your exhale,

Imagine a dark,

Smoky cloud leaving these areas,

Carrying away any tightness or stress.

See it move to your nose,

Your mouth,

Your chin,

And as you exhale,

Relax and release.

Move your awareness to your jaw.

Now,

Inhale deeply,

Sipping in the golden light,

Letting it soften your cheeks,

Releasing any clenching or holding.

Exhale slowly,

Letting the black smoke dissolve,

Leaving your jaw loose and at ease.

Now,

Bring your focus to your neck and your shoulders.

Feel the golden light pour here and begin to softly glow.

It glides over your neck,

Melting away tension.

Exhale dark smoke.

It flows into your shoulders,

Untangling any knots.

With each exhale,

Imagine the smoke drifting away,

Taking with it all the weight you've been carrying.

Shift your attention to your arms,

Starting at your upper arms,

And let the golden light flow down to your elbows,

Your forearms,

Your wrists,

And finally,

Your hands and your fingertips.

Feel the light infusing every part with warmth and vitality.

As you exhale,

Let the dark smoke leave,

Releasing any lingering tension.

Bring your awareness now to your chest.

Breathe in deeply,

Filling this area with liquid gold.

With your exhale,

Let go of anything heavy or restrictive,

Watching it dissolve into a smoky cloud.

Now,

Guide the golden light to your stomach,

Soothing and calming this space.

Breathe out any discomfort or unease,

Letting it drift away with the smoke.

Move your focus to your back,

From your upper back down to your lower back.

Inhale deeply,

Letting the golden light flow down your spine like a warm river,

Releasing any tension along the way.

Exhale fully,

Allowing the black smoke to carry away any strain.

Bring your awareness to your hips.

Let the golden light pool here.

As you exhale,

Feel the smoke rise and dissipate.

Bring your awareness to your pelvis,

And let the light stay here for a moment.

Exhale thick dark smoke,

Taking with it anything you no longer need.

Shift your attention to your thighs,

And see the light hover here,

Exhaling dark smoke.

And don't worry too much about controlling your breath anymore.

See the light flow down to your knees,

And glow there.

Your calves.

And finally,

Your feet.

Exhale a gray smoke,

And feel the light energizing and soothing each part.

With each exhale,

Releasing any tension,

Letting the black smoke fade completely.

Now imagine your entire body filled with golden light,

Radiating warmth and vitality.

There is no more room for any tension or worry,

And if you feel any,

Focus on the area and breathe into it.

Only this glowing,

Mercurial substance remains.

This is what you are.

This is what you're made of.

Sit here for a few moments,

Breathing deeply.

Feeling your lightness,

But also your heaviness at the same time.

I'll keep an eye on the time for the next five minutes,

And every time your attention begins to drift,

Just bring it back to this golden light filling your whole body.

And taking one final steady breath in,

And back out.

When you feel ready,

Gently begin to bring your awareness back to where you are.

Wiggling your fingers and your toes,

And taking one final steady breath in,

And back out.

And when you're ready,

Open your eyes,

And carry this sense of radiance and clarity with you as you move throughout the rest of your day.
