Welcome to this morning guided meditation.
Find a comfortable position,
Close your eyes and take a deep breath in,
Filling your lungs with fresh air.
As you exhale,
Release any tension or worries from the previous day.
Imagine yourself standing on a beautiful sandy beach,
The sun is shining brightly and you can feel its warmth on your skin.
As you walk along the shore,
You notice a small beach hut nestled among the palm trees.
You approach the beach hut and open the door.
Inside you find a cosy space filled with soft cushions and gentle ocean breeze flowing through the windows.
Take a seat and make yourself comfortable,
As you settle in,
Listen to the sound of the waves crashing against the shore.
Let the gentle motion of the ocean bring a sense of calm and relaxation to your mind and body.
Feel the gentle breeze brushing against your face and imagine the salty smell of the sea filling the air.
Now focus your attention on your breath.
Take a deep breath in,
Filling your lungs with fresh air and as you exhale,
Let go of any tension or stress that you may be holding on to.
With each breath becoming more and more relaxed,
Sinking deeper into a state of tranquility.
Picture the vibrant colours of the ocean,
The soft white sand beneath your feet and the clear blue sky above.
Feel a sense of gratitude for the natural beauty that surrounds you.
Now shift your attention to your body.
Lift from the top of your head and slowly scan down,
Releasing any tension or tightness you may feel.
Relax your forehead,
Your eyebrows and your eyes,
Let your cheeks and jaw begin to soften.
Feel the tension melt away from your neck and from your shoulders.
Allow your arms and hands to relax completely.
Feel the weight of your body sinking into the cushions beneath you as your torso and legs become heavy and relaxed as you continue to breathe deeply and slowly.
Imagine yourself absorbing the peaceful energy of the beach hut,
Feel its calming presence seeping into every cell of your body,
Washing away any stress or worry.
Allow yourself to be fully present in this moment of deep relaxation.
Take a few more moments to enjoy the serenity of the beach hut and the soothing sounds of the ocean waves.
When you are ready,
Slowly open your eyes,
Bringing the sense of tranquility and relaxation with you into the rest of your day.
