Did you know that the things you tell yourself on a regular basis are likely to become your reality?
It has been said,
All that we are is the result of what we have thought.
For instance,
If you're in the habit of telling yourself that you're not good at something,
It's very likely you won't be.
Because you've trained yourself to be that way by repeatedly giving yourself this negative message.
Our beliefs create the behavior to create the reality in which these beliefs come true.
Imagine that you are a house,
And written on the walls of your house are the scripts of all of your beliefs.
These beliefs have been gathered over years from your own experience or from other people,
Maybe your family,
Your peers,
Your environment.
Every single moment of the day gets filtered through these scripts,
Which then shape your every experience.
Some of these scripts have outgrown their usefulness.
Others are downright unhelpful.
Some of them aren't even yours.
Powerful affirmations are positive statements which are consciously chosen by you to replace these negative inner scripts with something more useful,
More creative,
And allow you to be more open to the possibilities.
Positive suggestion and visualization combined with deep relaxation is an easy way to make a powerful,
Positive,
Personal change.
Just going through this relaxation exercise alone will help to change and improve the way you feel.
If you combine the relaxation techniques with the repeated script of positive statements,
Such as the IMs we will be doing today,
You will begin to change the way you think and feel and act,
And all that life has to offer as a result.
Alright,
So let's get to it.
Today's meditation is an affirmation meditation for confidence,
Self-love,
And assertiveness.
Sit or lie down comfortably.
Get out any extra itches or twitches.
Make sure you're properly comfortable.
Straighten your back.
Put your shoulders back.
Open up your rib cage a little bit.
Relax your shoulders.
Relax your whole body.
Try to empty out your mind for just a moment.
Close your eyes.
Take ten deep,
Slow breaths.
Breathe from the pit of your stomach and feel your lungs fill all the way up.
Focus on your breathing.
Feel it getting deeper and slower.
Feel yourself relaxing and any tension your body's holding is starting to drift away.
Relax your shoulders and your neck.
Perfect.
Now visualize yourself being happy,
Succeeding,
Winning,
Being loved,
Laughing,
And feeling amazing.
Relax your forehead.
Allow a gentle smile to appear on your face as you feel a calmness enter your being.
Then say out loud ideally after me,
Making sure that you add in the I am before you finish the sentence.
