Hello,
Beautiful soul.
Welcome to today's guided meditation.
On releasing the past.
So wherever you find yourself today,
Just allowing yourself to get really comfortable.
If it feels okay for you,
Letting the eyelids close.
Connecting deeper with yourself.
With your body.
With this moment.
Taking a big inhale through the nose.
And a big exhale out the mouth.
One more time,
Big breath in.
Big sigh out the mouth.
And just allowing your sit bones.
To really anchor down into the surface that's beneath you.
Maybe shaking out the shoulders,
Maybe taking a couple of shoulder rolls forward and back.
Maybe shaking out the fingers,
Wiggling the toes,
And just getting any last minute movements out before settling into stillness.
Giving gratitude to yourself first and foremost for taking this time out of your day to pause to reset.
To reconnect.
And giving gratitude to Great Spirit,
To this cosmic mystery,
To God,
Whatever you want to call it.
For allowing another day,
Another sunrise,
Another sunset.
Another opportunity to find joy in the small things.
Maybe just bringing awareness to the muscles of the face,
Noticing without judgment.
Maybe you're furrowing the eyebrows.
Maybe there's a frown or a sadness.
Maybe you're smiling.
And just knowing that they're all okay.
These are all emotions that are part of the human experience.
And just embracing with acceptance wherever you find yourself today.
Remembering that nothing is forever.
Nothing is permanent.
Taking another big breath in.
And a big exhale out.
And dropping into the heart space.
Just coming to that place,
That person,
That situation.
That thought.
Whatever part a view that keeps going to the past.
And just noticing the emotions that arise as you come back to.
This moment.
Whether it's a situation.
Whether it's a mistake.
Whether it's a person.
A place,
An experience.
And seeing if you can find it within yourself.
To add to this memory.
A space of forgiveness.
Maybe it's forgiving yourself for not knowing any better.
Maybe it's forgiving a person.
Who didn't give you the value that they should have.
Who didn't appreciate.
All that was being done.
Maybe it's a loved one that you weren't ready for them to pass on.
I'm just taking a big breath here.
And a big exhale out.
And just activating the wisdom.
Of the higher self.
The part of you that knows.
That everything that transpired.
Needed to for you to be right here in this moment.
No matter how painful,
No matter how much anger,
Grief.
All the emotions that came up.
They were all teachers.
A lot of us may not know it.
But we are all full-time students in what I like to think of as the university of life.
One of my teachers shared that with me once.
That we are all students in.
This university that has no walls.
The classroom is everywhere.
So can we take this moment?
This situation,
This person from the past.
And can we find it within ourselves to say thank you?
Thank you for teaching me.
Maybe the teaching was to trust my intuition.
To remember my value.
To love unconditionally while I can because tomorrow is never promised.
To walk away from things that are not serving me.
To choose myself before choosing somebody else.
Whatever that teaching is.
Whatever that lesson is.
Can we look back at that moment in time with grace?
With compassion.
With the acknowledgment.
At that moment.
In whatever shape or form.
Allowed us to arrive right here in this space.
And instead of looking back or reflecting on that moment with,
I wish I would have,
I could have done this,
I should have done this.
Can we look within and say.
.
.
This moment transpired exactly as it needed to.
And for that,
I am grateful.
Because any change in that moment may not have led me here to this space.
May not have taught me.
Whatever it is that I needed to learn.
And it's through that discomfort.
It's through that alchemization.
That I am growing.
There's a wise quote that says,
Still waters never made skillful sailors.
So can we acknowledge?
When the waters in our life become turbulent.
That they are teaching us something.
And instead of looking back in the rear view mirror.
And thinking about what you would have done differently or what you wish would have happened.
Can you walk forward confidently with your head held high?
Knowing that in that moment.
You did the best you could.
With what you knew and who you were at that time.
And that now.
If this situation presented itself again.
You have the knowledge and the wisdom to act differently.
Or maybe you choose to act the same,
And that's okay too.
It's all part of our own unique healing journey.
Trusting that every test,
Every trial,
Every obstacle we're faced with gives us the opportunity to look within.
And decide how we're going to respond.
Taking a big breath in here.
And a big exhale out.
Another big breath in.
Big sigh of release.
And just noticing maybe some parts of the body have tensed up.
Maybe the shoulders have crept up by your ears.
Maybe your hands or your fingers have become tense.
Perhaps your belly.
Or your gut.
Your toes.
Just giving them a gentle shake,
Coming back into a state of relaxation.
And just seeing if throughout the rest of your day or your week.
When you find yourself coming back.
To this moment.
When you find yourself looping.
Through this experience.
Can you do it from a place of gratitude and acceptance?
From a place of understanding.
And if it's a fresh event or situation,
It may not all make sense now.
But can you find it within to trust?
That like everything else in life.
That moment has served to guide you,
To push you forward.
To make you so uncomfortable.
That you had no choice but to leave.
To choose differently.
To grow.
To level up.
Instead of looking back at the past and wishing that things were different.
Can we find it within?
To say thank you.
To feel gratitude.
No matter how bittersweet or maybe just bitter the teaching was.
And to look forward towards the future.
Knowing that the same way.
We live through all the experiences in the past.
They continue to shape us,
Guide us,
Make us stronger.
And walk us towards our destiny.
Maybe placing one or both hands over the heart.
Just taking a big breath in here.
And a big exhale out.
Taking another big breath in.
And a big exhale out.
Thanking all of the angels,
Benevolent ancestors,
Guides.
Who continue to show us the way.
Continue to help us in our most difficult moments.
And trusting that everything is happening according to a higher plan.
May we find peace in that.
May we continue to gently surrender to the teachings that life wants to give us.
And may we continue to love ourselves so deeply.
Understanding that everything is unfolding for our highest good.
And just feeling your heartbeat.
Giving gratitude for this time here.
Giving gratitude for any emotions that were able to be processed.
One final big breath in here.
Big exhale out.
Thank you for tuning in.
And wishing you a beautiful rest of your day or night,
Wherever you find yourself.
Till next time.
