As we close our eyes,
We've already begun.
Take a deep breath in and a long breath out.
Take a deep breath in and a long breath out.
One more deep breath in and a long breath out.
Maybe you've had a busy day.
Maybe there have already been some challenges.
Or maybe the day is just beginning.
However you're feeling,
Just come as you are to this meditation.
Allowing the breath to flow comfortably,
Naturally.
As you begin to become aware of your body,
Your physical presence resting here.
Do you feel comfortable?
Do you feel uncomfortable?
It's all okay.
There's no right or wrong.
Just allow your attention to move down your body.
Just noticing what you find.
From your head,
To your neck,
To your shoulders.
Noticing any sensations.
From the shoulders to the chest.
From the chest down to your belly.
Really tuning in to anything that you feel.
Just allowing it to be there.
From your belly to your hips and down to your thighs.
Letting any tension go.
Just removing the attention down to your knees.
Down through the shins,
To the ankles.
And to your feet.
Allowing any sensations,
Strong sensations or really gentle sensations,
Just to be there.
And now take your time and pass your attention again from the top of your head all the way down to the tips of your toes.
And whatever you find,
Just allow it to be there.
Take your time and do that now.
Just keep moving your attention slowly down the body.
Your gentle attention.
Accepting and allowing whatever you find.
And now just bringing your attention to your forehead.
Putting your attention gently on your forehead.
And noticing your breathing.
And then breathe in a little bit deeper.
Take a nice long exhale.
Breathing into your forehead.
Keeping your attention just there.
Breathing calmly.
Keeping your body very still.
Nice and relaxed.
You might even choose to imagine a gentle light glowing there.
A golden light.
Bringing you more peace,
Care and understanding.
Quietening your mind.
Soothing your body.
Relaxing your face and your jaw.
Because you are exactly where you need to be.
You are in exactly the right place.
Love flows to you.
And love flows through you.
All is well.
You are safe.
You are cared for.
And as you breathe in,
And as you breathe out,
That light of love and peace glows a little bit brighter.
And as you breathe out,
There is nothing to do but be here.
In this moment.
Bathing in that beautiful light of love,
Of peace,
Of wonderful safety.
Of peace,
Of certainty.
And strength.
And now I invite you to turn your attention outward to someone that you care for.
To someone that needs a little bit more love and light in their life today.
And as you breathe in,
And as you breathe out,
Send them that light.
Send them that love.
Imagine the light passing from you to them.
And bathing them in peace,
In safety,
In strength.
Whatever they need,
Pass that love and that light to them,
Right now.
