Use your imagination and visualization throughout the meditation taking note of the sights, sounds, and smells around you. During your time at the beach, you will journey into the ocean and receive a special message as well as a cherished gift from the ocean that you can carry with you forever. Hello and welcome to this guided journey.

I am your guide Kendra Sheehan and I thank you for being here with me in this moment.

Be proud of yourself for making the time to be here,

To care for yourself,

To be fully present,

And to open your heart to trust and receive.

Start by finding a calm and quiet place to sit or lay down.

Wherever you are,

Find a comfortable resting position.

I invite you to close your eyes now,

If that feels right,

And just listen to the sounds and feel your body start to relax.

Start to connect with your breath.

Notice how you relax a little more with every breath you take.

Feel your chest rising with every inhale and feel your chest falling with every exhale.

With every deep inhale,

You can feel your lungs filling with air.

With every deep exhale,

You can feel your whole body relaxing and letting go of any tension you might be holding in your body.

With every deep inhale,

You can feel the air streaming into your body,

Bringing in a golden light that fills your entire body from head to toe.

With every exhale,

You're releasing anything that no longer serves you and your highest and best good.

As you continue to inhale and exhale,

Imagine how one part of your body after another relaxes more and more.

Your forehead,

Your jaw,

Your neck,

Your shoulders,

Your arms,

Down your fingertips.

Relax your chest,

Your back,

Your belly,

Your hips,

Your legs,

On the front and alongside the back,

Down to the tips of your toes.

Feel your whole body now.

Your whole body is totally relaxed.

There is nothing else to do.

There is nowhere else to be.

Slowly,

Your awareness starts to float into another time and place.

As you shift your awareness,

You find yourself at a special beach.

What a beautiful feeling.

You're lying on your beach towel.

The temperature of the air is perfect.

Nobody is around.

You are all by yourself here.

It is your special place and you come here to find peace and learn more about yourself.

Take a nice cleansing deep breath in and a nice deep exhale.

The air smells wonderful here.

Salty,

Fresh,

Like freedom and peace.

Know that you are close to the ocean,

Relaxing you even more and more.

Taking a moment,

You look around and observe the sky and your surroundings.

What time of day is it?

Is there vegetation,

Flowers,

Trees?

Just be here for a moment.

Just be.

There's nothing more to do than being and enjoying.

You can hear the sound of the waves like a rhythm that you know from a long time ago.

The ocean speaks the language of your soul.

Listen closely for a moment to the sound of the waves ebbing and flowing.

Now the sound of the waves and the salty air invite you.

They invite you to come closer to the water.

You get up and you walk towards the water now,

Feeling the sand on your bare feet.

You feel the wind gently blowing on your body,

Inviting you to come closer to the water.

As you dip your feet into the ocean,

You feel even more connected to this freedom that surrounds you.

Take a moment to notice the water and sand on your feet.

Does the water feel cool or warm?

Look around your feet.

What do you find?

Are there shells,

Stones?

What color is the sand?

As you stand at the water's edge,

You begin to feel the pull.

You're overcome with a desire to dive into the water,

To be in it,

To be a part of it.

And as the next wave rolls towards you,

You dive right into the blue clear water.

You allow your whole body to be submerged in the water.

Once your head is below the surface,

You notice that you're able to breathe perfectly,

See perfectly,

And you feel completely safe,

Completely held by the water.

You feel gently rocked back and forth by the movement of the water.

It's as if you're in the womb of Mother Ocean.

You are held.

You are supported.

You are nourished.

And you are loved here.

You completely trust the ocean to hold you in this safe space.

You have nothing to fear here,

And here you are cherished just the way you are.

Now that you're down below the surface of the water,

Take a moment to look around and observe.

What do you see?

What do you hear?

How do you feel?

Take a moment to just observe.

As you observe and listen,

You hear the sand flowing back and forth on the ocean floor.

And as you listen closer,

You realize the sand is whispering a message just for you.

Listen now.

What is the message just for you?

You thank the sand for conveying this special message just for you,

And you express your deep gratitude knowing that you will cherish this message in your heart forever.

You take a long inhale and exhale,

Enjoying this beautiful moment.

You now decide it's time to return to your towel on the beach.

As you come above the surface,

You feel the warm sun and gentle breeze on your face and begin to make your way back to the shoreline.

As you walk onto the beach,

You see something in the sand.

You reach down and you pick it up knowing that this is a special gift for you from the ocean to help remind you of your time shared here together.

Take a moment to look at this gift.

What does it look like?

How big is it?

What does it feel like in your hand?

You turn back,

Expressing your gratitude to the ocean for this gift and realize that you also have something in your other hand.

This is a gift from you to the ocean.

You toss your gift into the water knowing it's received with love and gratitude.

You turn back and walk to your towel holding your special gift.

Now that you are back on your towel,

You hold your gift to your heart.

You're ready now to come back from your special place.

And finally,

When you're ready,

You bring your awareness back to the space that you are in.

Take a nice big stretch,

A nice big inhale and exhale and open your eyes when you are ready.

Welcome back to the present moment.

Give yourself gratitude for taking time to take this journey.

I encourage you to journal your experience and reflect on any insights you received.
