Hello and welcome.
For this meditation.
Find a comfortable position.
Allow your body to settle naturally.
There is nothing to achieve here,
Nothing to fix,
Nothing to become.
Simply arrive.
Take a slow breath in.
And a slow breath out.
Again.
Breathe in and.
.
.
Breathing out.
Now,
Allow sound to come and go.
You do not need to search for them.
They appear by themselves.
Notice that sounds arise and then disappear.
Allow sensations in the body to do the same.
Pressure,
Warmth.
Movement.
Tension.
They arrive.
They remain briefly.
And then they change.
Now,
Notice thoughts.
Thoughts are also appearing.
A memory,
A plan,
A comment,
An image.
Let them move freely.
You were not trying to stop them.
Only observing.
Now,
Gently ask,
Where exactly is the one who is aware of all this?
Do not answer intellectually.
Simply look.
Can you find a fixed observer?
A solid center.
A permanent self behind the experience.
Look carefully Every answer that appears is itself another experience.
A thought can be observed.
An image can be observed.
A feeling can be observed.
Even the sense of me can be observed.
Notice the openness in which all of this appears.
Not a thing,
Not an object,
Just space.
Awareness without a center.
Rest here for a few breaths.
Nothing needs to happen.
Nothing needs to be understood.
Just this simple openness.
Now,
Begin returning.
Feel the weight of your body.
Notice the room around you.
Notice the sounds nearby.
And remember,
You do not need a fixed identity in order to function.
You can act without being trapped by the story.
You do not need a fixed identity in order to function.
You can act without being trapped by the story.
Take one final breath.
And gently open your eyes.
Welcome back.
Thanks for sharing your practice with me.
Go well,
In health and peace.
