Welcome.

I'm thankful you're here.

Before we begin,

Let's take a moment to notice our bodies.

Notice where you are.

Notice that you have arrived to this moment,

This time together.

So many of us carry so much.

We carry love.

We carry responsibility.

We carry the needs of our children,

Our partners,

Our families,

Our communities.

We carry our own hopes,

Our worries,

Our dreams,

And our heartbreak.

Even in moments of devastation,

In moments of exhaustion,

We keep going.

We show up.

We hold things together.

And sometimes in all of that carrying,

We drift a little from ourselves.

So this is an invitation to come back.

Not to fix anything.

Not to solve anything.

Just to return.

Take a slow breath in through your nose,

Taking your time,

Not forcing anything.

Let it fill your chest and your belly and gently exhale through your mouth.

Adjusting your style of breath as you need to,

As your body is asking for.

Again,

Breathe in and out.

As you breathe,

Allow yourself to feel your presence.

Your body here in this moment.

Your breath here.

If you become distracted,

If your mind feels busy,

That's okay.

If your heart feels heavy,

That's okay.

Nothing needs to change for you to be worthy of this moment.

Nothing needs to change for this moment to be nourishing for you.

You are allowed to pause.

You are allowed to soften.

You are allowed to be held by your own breath.

Let your shoulders drop.

Let your jaw relax.

Let your belly be soft.

You do so much.

You hold so much.

And still,

Your presence alone is enough in this moment.

Take one more slow breath in and a gentle breath out at your own pace,

No rushing.

And if you need more deep breaths,

Please take your time and honor your needs in the way that your body is asking for.

Carry the softness with you,

Carrying the knowing that even in all you hold,

You are still allowed to be held.

I am so glad that you gave yourself this moment.

I see you,

Mama.
