Hello and good morning.
Welcome back.
Welcome to day seven.
I am so thrilled that we made it through a whole seven days.
Can you believe it?
This is what consistency looks like.
I want to make a note really quick that the reason we are doing 21 days is because that is scientifically what it takes to build a habit,
To stay consistent and actually implement these things into our real lives.
So that's why it's 21 days.
And we also get to graduate on the summer solstice,
Which is the biggest day for transformation of the year.
So set your intention and make it count.
So day seven,
We have shown up every single day for an entire week.
Seven days of pressing play,
Of sitting with hard things,
Of doing practices that probably felt kind of strange.
I know I remember when I was doing all of these semonic exercises,
They felt very foreign to me and I almost didn't want to continue.
But it's big and important for you to still stay here and be here and continue.
So thank you.
That is not a small thing,
Too.
That is actually enormous.
And I want to celebrate it with you before we do anything else today,
Because you deserve that.
You genuinely deserve that.
So before you go anywhere,
I want you to put your hand on your heart.
Take a deep breath.
And just let yourself feel proud.
For a moment.
A real moment,
The kind that comes from knowing you did something hard and you did not quit.
I just want to remind you of everything that we have covered in the last seven days.
So day one,
We learned about your nervous system,
The three states,
Regulated,
Activated,
Shut down.
You learned that you are not broken.
Day two,
You met your parts,
Your inner child,
Your protectors.
You learned where anxious attachment actually comes from and why it was never a character flaw.
It was a survival strategy.
Day three,
You looked at the spiral,
You learned what is actually happening in your brain and your body when you get activated and you got your spiral SOS cards.
Day four,
You sat with one of the most confronting truths in this entire challenge,
That what you have been calling chemistry might actually be your nervous system recognizing a wound and calling it home.
Day five,
You built your regulation menu.
You found tools that actually work for your specific nervous system.
Day six,
You looked at the FON response,
The shrinking,
The people-pleasing,
The self-abandonment,
Dressed up as devotion.
You stood up and said out loud that you are gonna take up space and that your presence matters.
That is seven days of real work,
Seven days of showing up for yourself in a way that a lot of people never ever do.
Now,
I want to talk to someone specific right now,
And you will know if this is you.
Maybe you are seven days in and you do not feel different at all.
Maybe you are still spiraling,
Still reaching for the phone to check if they responded,
Still telling yourself the same stories when someone goes quiet,
Still doing some of the old things even though you know better now.
And maybe a small quiet voice in the back of your mind is starting to wonder,
Is this working?
Am I too far gone for this?
I need you to hear me very clearly.
That voice is lying to you.
Healing does not announce itself.
It does not send you a notification that says,
Congratulations,
You are now 37% less anxious.
It shows up in moments so small you almost miss them.
The moment you felt the spiral starting and you took one breath before you reacted instead of zero,
The moment you noticed you were telling a story and asked yourself whether it was actually true.
The moment you felt the pull towards the familiar chaos and something in you paused,
Even for a second,
Even if you still went toward it,
The pause was new.
The pause is everything.
The rewiring is happening even when you cannot feel it.
Your nervous system is taking in new information every single day.
New pathways are being built.
The fact that you cannot see the construction does not mean nothing is being built.
Seven days is not a long time.
It is the beginning and the beginning is supposed to feel uncertain.
So if you are the person who feels like nothing has changed yet,
I am not asking you to pretend that it has.
I am asking you to trust that it is happening underneath the surface and to keep showing up anyway.
That is what changes everything.
Now,
Let me talk to the person on the other side of that,
The one who does feel something shifting.
Maybe you cannot fully articulate what it is yet,
But something is different.
You caught yourself mid-spiral and recognized it for what it was,
Or you felt that familiar pull and something in you hesitated.
If that is you,
I want you to know that what you are feeling is real.
That is your nervous system beginning to reorganize.
Hold onto that.
Write it down.
Because when week two gets harder,
And it will get harder,
You are going to want to remember that you felt this.
Now let me talk about what is coming because week two is a different animal altogether and I want you to walk into it with your eyes open and ready.
Week one was about landing,
About getting into your body,
About understanding the surface level of what is happening in your nervous system and your patterns.
It was warm and accessible,
And some consider it quite easy.
Week two is about understanding,
And that means we go to the root.
We stop looking at the symptoms and we start looking at where the wound actually lives,
Where it came from,
What it has been protecting,
What it is trying to tell us you.
It is going to feel heavier,
I want to be honest about that.
Some of the days in week 2 might bring up things that surprise you.
That is not a sign to stop,
That is a sign to keep going.
I think you are ready for it.
You would not be here on day seven if you were not ready for it.
So your shamanic practice today is I want you to think of one thing your body did for you today without you asking it to.
For example,
Your heart beating,
Your lungs breathing.
Your legs carrying you through the day.
I want you to think of one thing,
Or you can think of several things if you'd like.
And take a deep breath in.
And let it out.
And I want you to thank that part of you out loud if you can.
Just a simple thank you.
And try to mean it if you can.
And if you cannot mean it yet,
Say it anyways.
The meaning tends to follow the practice.
Practicing gratitude is reaffirming,
And it's a form of integration,
So it can integrate everything that we've learned throughout the week,
And it's very important to practice.
So your journal prompt today,
What have you noticed about yourself this week that you did not know before?
Even a small thing,
A pattern you can now name,
A feeling you recognized before it swallowed you,
And then this,
What pattern are you starting to see more clearly?
You.
Not what do you want to change yet,
Just what can you see now that you could not see before you started this.
So you signed up for this challenge for a reason.
Something brought you here.
Some part of you knew that the old way was not working anymore.
That part of you was right.
And that part of you has been showing up every single day for seven days and doing the work even when it was uncomfortable.
So week two starts tomorrow,
And it is going to ask more of you,
But you have already proven something really important.
You show up,
Even when it's hard,
Even when you cannot feel the progress yet.
You show up.
That is who you are and that changes everything.
I want you to take a deep breath in.
Let it out.
I will see you on day 8 with so much love,
Hailey.
