I actually cannot believe we are here.
I just wanted to take a second and acknowledge that you made it.
Signing up for something like this can take some serious courage.
I know that.
You know that.
So before we do anything else,
I just want to say I see you and I'm so glad you are here.
I'm truly,
Truly grateful.
So my name is Haley.
I created Secure by Summer and I want to tell you a little bit about why before we dive into anything else.
I spent basically years of my life confused about why love always felt the same way,
Why I kept finding myself in the same exact dynamics with different people wondering what was wrong with me,
Why I could read literally every single book,
Listen to every podcast,
Go to therapy,
Journal until my hand basically cramped up and still find myself you know spiraling at 2 a.
M.
Over a text that hadn't even come true yet.
And then I started learning about the nervous system,
About attachment theory,
About the way our bodies carry patterns that our minds cannot just think their way out of.
And something shifted,
Not overnight,
Not super dramatically,
But slowly,
Steadily,
I started to feel like a different person in relationships.
I started to feel like myself again.
And I built this challenge because I wanted to pass that along.
Not just like the information but the actual felt experience of it the shamanic Practices the journal prompts the reframes all of it is designed to work in your body.
Not just your head So that is who I am and that is why this exists now Let me tell you what you just signed up for because you're probably like what the heck are we doing here?
Where are we going?
What did I just sign up for?
So this is a 21-day shamanic nervous system challenge every single day for the next 21 days,
You are going to get a short audio module from me.
It's kind of like a mini podcast.
We are talking under 10 minutes most days because I built this for real life,
For busy people,
Busy schedules,
For the person who is commuting or on a lunch break or stealing 10 minutes before like the kids wake up,
You know.
You can do this on the go.
That was completely intentional.
Each day has three parts.
You will get a shamanic practice,
Which is a body-based exercise.
You will get a journal prompt,
Which is one deep question to sit with.
And you will get a closing anchor,
Which is a final thought to carry with you throughout the day.
Now,
I want to encourage you to journal if you have a journal.
You do not have to.
Nobody is going to grade you,
But some of these prompts are going to up things,
Good things,
Real things,
Heavy things sometimes,
And having a place to put all of that is going to make this experience so much richer.
Even if it is just the notes app on your phone,
That's what I use,
You can use that even if it is messy all over the place.
Just have somewhere to put what comes up for you now This is important.
Why 21 days I get this question a lot and I love it because the answer is actually really cool It takes approximately 21 days to begin forming a new habit and just start building new neural pathways in the brain We are not just learning new concepts here.
We are literally rewiring our entire brain and nervous system.
We are asking your nervous system to build new patterns,
New responses,
New ways of being in your body and in your relationships.
And that kind of change needs repetition.
It needs consistency.
It needs time.
21 days is not a magic number,
You guys,
Where you cross the finish line and you are suddenly a completely different person.
But days of showing up every single day,
Doing the practice,
Sitting with the prompt,
That is enough to feel genuinely different and that is what I want for you.
Also,
And I just have to say this because it genuinely gives me the chills every single time,
This challenge runs from June 1st to June 21st.
June 21st is the summer solstice,
The literal first day of summer.
We start together and we finish on the longest day of the year.
I mean,
Come on,
If that is not a sign,
I don't know what is.
Here is something I also want you to know.
You have access to this course forever.
There is no expiration date on your healing.
Life is going to happen.
I totally get it.
You might get to day nine and then something comes up and you lose a week.
That is okay.
Come back whenever you want.
You might finish all 21 days and then six months from now find yourself in a hard moment and you might want to start again from the beginning.
You can do that.
This is yours.
Return to it when ever you need it.
There is no wrong way to move through this as long as you keep moving.
Now,
Let me tell you what these 21 days are actually going to cover because I want you to know what you are walking into.
We move through three phases.
Week one is called regulate.
This is where you land in your body and you start to understand the spiral.
You learn what is actually happening in your nervous system when you get activated.
Week two is called understand.
This is where we go to the root.
Where did the pattern come from?
What is the wound underneath the spiral?
What is your nervous system actually trying to protect you from?
This week goes deeper.
It might feel a little heavier.
That is completely normal and it means the work is probably working.
Week three is called Rewire.
This is my favorite week.
This is where we rebuild,
Reparenting,
Integration,
Learning to choose differently in real time.
Day 19 is probably the most powerful day in the entire challenge.
I will say more about that when we get there.
And day 21 is our graduation.
I have a lot of feelings about day 21 already,
And we haven't even started yet.
One more thing before I let you go,
Start day one.
Whoever you are,
Whatever brought you here,
Whatever relationship or pattern or moment finally made you say,
Okay,
I need to do something differently.
I want you to know that you are in the right place.
This is a safe space.
This is not about becoming someone else.
This is about coming back to yourself.
The version of you that exists before the anxiety.
Before the spiral,
Before you learned that love had to be earned or chased or even survived,
That version of you is still in there and that is exactly who we are going to find together.
