Hello,
Welcome to this How to Make a Cheap Ball tutorial.
So when we are.
Cultivating and working with our chi,
Our energy.
It is really important to start.
By grounding ourselves.
And we're going to do that in our Ouija posture.
The other thing to note is it can help to take any rings or bracelets off,
Any metal encircling parts of your body that can help you to feel your qi a little more,
Particularly when you're first starting.
So take any.
.
.
Jewellery off that you might need to.
And then come and join me in a Ouija posture.
We're coming to move our feet.
Shoulder width apart.
And just begin to relax.
And open your joints.
So relaxing and softening through your joints.
Through your feet,
Ankles,
Knees,
Hips.
Arms.
Allow a little space under the arms to help the chi flow.
Soften through your shoulders.
Begin to activate your taiji pole,
This central column of energy.
We do that by tucking the tailbone under.
Tuck the chin in,
Bring the tongue to the roof of your mouth.
And imagine a cord gently lifting through the crown of your head,
Lengthening through your spine.
Begin to allow your breath.
To sink down into your abdomen.
Down,
Down,
Down into your belly.
Allow those slower,
Deeper belly breaths.
To help begin to calm your nervous system.
And activate your lower dantian,
The center of vitality.
Begin to allow your inner awareness.
To merge with your outer awareness.
We can set the intention to activate.
Our Chi Bowl today.
And let's add one more important ingredient,
A smile to the face.
So let this smiling energy shine through your eyes.
Spread to the heart and help you to connect to that unconditional love in the heart,
The human force.
We're bringing this unconditional love into our practice together today.
Going to take it into our Qi ball.
And now let's massage our palms.
We're going to activate some energy gates in the palms.
So our Lao Gong point,
If you rest your middle finger onto the palm,
This is the Lao Gong point.
Pericardium 8.
Let's massage that.
To help open.
This energy gate to help us.
Tune in.
And feel our chi.
So we're massaging in a circular motion.
And then tap with the back of the other hand three times.
So Lao Gong gets nicknamed the key point to happiness.
So it's always beneficial to massage this point.
It also helps.
Balance our circulation,
Relieve anxiety,
Balance our emotions.
And nourishes our mind.
Stomach and spleen.
So tapping again.
Further tapping taking the outer edges of your hands so we're tapping along our little pinkies.
Tapping our heart and small intestine meridian.
And then let's tap the outer edges of the bumps.
So we have the long meridian running down here.
And then the wrists we're opening up the wrist And the other side.
The base of your palms.
And then the tips of your fingers lots of the meridians of the arms start and end in the tips of the fingers of fire and metal element meridians.
And then clap.
Clapping the palms together.
Having some fun with it.
Bringing some joy.
Into your practice.
Hehe.
Getting all that.
Blood moving and energy moving in your arms.
And then bring your palms together,
Clap again.
And rub.
So we're generating beautiful warmth.
This warm chi between our palms.
When your palms are feeling nice and warm.
Whee!
Slow the rub down,
Come to stillness with the palms.
Feel into your palms and then slowly begin to open.
Pulsing a little,
Noticing what you can feel.
In your palms.
Maybe this a sense of magnetism.
Awesome tingling.
With some warmth.
There's no right or wrong.
We're just noticing.
And the more you practice,
The more sensitive to feeling chi you become.
So we're making our palms.
Draw apart a little more.
So we can inhale.
Expand,
Exhale,
Contract.
Inhale.
Exhale.
And we can play with our chi ball.
Let's make a pendulum type movement so It's like.
.
.
Pendulum.
Just moving back and forth.
What can you notice?
Between your palms.
What sensations do you notice?
Just taking that gentle curiosity.
Towards your palms,
Drawing your attention here.
Back to the center.
Pulsing a little.
We're going to begin to refine.
Our cheese ball.
And so we inhale,
Expand.
Hold the breath.
Pulse three times.
Exhale rotate.
Inhale,
Expand.
Hold.
Pulse three times.
Exhale rotate.
Again.
Inhale.
Pulse three times.
Exhale,
Rotate and continue to circle.
Your bowl.
So.
We are refining our cheeks.
Look at this.
Gentle.
Fluidity of movement.
And you might like to Add an affirmation.
Or maybe a single word.
Pops in.
And you'd like to add that into your qi ball.
For example,
Balance.
Kindness.
Peace.
Just allowing an affirmation.
Or a word.
Positive word to drop into your Qi ball.
Refining our Qi.
Beautiful t-ball And.
.
.
Slowly drawing your qi ball back down in front of your lower dantian.
We're going to begin to pulse on our Qi ball again and condense all this beautiful refined.
Cultivated chi.
Down,
Down into.
.
.
A golden pearl.
So we're.
.
.
Condensing all this magical chi.
Down,
Down,
Into.
.
.
A gold and What the hell?
And once we have that golden pearl,
Let's integrated into our lower dantian.
If you are on your monthly bleed I suggest integrating this pearl into your middle dantian,
Your heart space.
Otherwise for everyone else we're going to integrate.
Ow.
Beautiful golden pearl of qi into our lower dantian just below our navel You might like to Really help that cheebo,
That pearl.
Integrate into your lower dantian.
Let's take three deep breaths here.
Drawing your attention down,
Down into your lower belly,
Your lower dantian One more deep breath here.
Slowly bring your feet together.
Coming to bamboo sways in the wind release or effort.
Allow your body.
To rock and sway.
Allowing the chi to flow wherever it needs to.
Within your body.
Balance.
Harmony.
And health.
Thank you for your practice.
