Slowly allowing yourself to get comfortable in the seat in which you sit,
Making any movements or adjustments that you need so that you can allow yourself to fully be here,
To be present to this moment.
And as you make any adjustments and close your eyes,
Coming into relationship with your breath,
Taking a deep breath in,
Filling your belly full and exhaling.
And as you exhale,
Allowing this breath to move all the way out through the soles of your feet.
And one more big breath in,
Holding at the top and letting it all go.
Coming into your natural rhythm of breath.
And as you already start to notice your body start to slow down,
And with every breath you can allow yourself to relax just a little bit more and giving yourself the permission to just be here.
There is nowhere else you need to be and nothing else you need to do in this moment.
And as you can,
Breathe that permission in and through your body,
In and through your bones.
And as you do this,
Imagine there is a blue pearl that sits at the top of your head,
At the top of your crown.
Notice how this blue pearl feels to you in this moment.
And slowly allow it to sink,
Sink down,
Down through the top of your head.
Allow it to sink down as though it's moving through molasses,
Slowly,
Slowly moving through your crown,
Through the back of your skull,
On down to the nape of your neck.
Slowly continuing to sink down the spine until it sits at the back of your heart.
And notice how this feels,
This blue pearl sitting at the back of your heart.
What can you sense?
What do you feel?
This blue pearl is a representation of your mind.
This rightful seat of your mind as trusted advisor and your heart as king or queen.
What do you notice now about this blue pearl and this relationship to your heart?
Take another deep breath in.
Releasing that blue pearl,
We'll do this one more time at your own pace.
And as you feel the blue pearl atop of your crown once again,
Let yourself fill this blue pearl up with all the things you may be holding in your mind,
The tasks at hand.
Filling this blue pearl up with it.
And slowly,
Once again,
This blue pearl sinks like it's moving through molasses down through your skull,
Through your spine,
Until it comes in its rightful seat at the back of your heart.
Notice how this relationship feels between heart and mind.
Taking one more deep breath in here,
Letting it all go.
