Welcome to your Yoga Need Your Journey.
Lie down comfortably and allow yourself to relax completely.
Release any excess energy by inhaling deeply through your nose,
Holding it briefly,
And then exhaling with a sigh.
Repeat this a few times,
Then allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm.
Start to become aware of your surroundings.
Acknowledge any thoughts or feelings that arise at this moment.
Practice inviting,
Recognizing,
And observing whatever comes into your awareness,
Whether it's internal or external.
Take a moment to set your intention or sankalpa.
Repeat it to yourself three times.
Now begin to let go of any control of your breath and simply observe it.
Feel as if you're breathing into your whole face without altering your breath.
Now begin to direct your breath into your entire head,
Into your arms,
Into your chest,
Into your abdomen,
Into your back,
Your neck,
Your pelvis,
Into your legs,
And into your feet.
Focus on just the front of your body,
Feeling as though it expands with each breath.
Next,
Shift your focus to just the back of your body and feel that area expand as you breathe in and as you breathe out.
Front side,
Back side.
Now breathe into your whole body,
Envisioning your entire self breathing.
Start to pay attention to how you're perceiving energy in this moment.
Where in your body do you sense energy?
How would you describe this sensation?
Is it sharp or is it dull?
Is it in motion or is it still?
Are there any colors that resonate with how the energy feels in your body?
Invite,
Acknowledge,
And observe any manifestation of energy present in this moment.
Start to direct your focus to the base of your spine and notice your energy there.
This is your first chakra,
Your root chakra.
Begin to visualize a vivid red light of energy at the base of your spine.
Imagine your favorite place on earth,
Perhaps a garden,
A trail,
Or a beach.
A place that makes you feel truly at home.
Start to shift upward into your lower abdomen,
Representing your second chakra,
The sacral chakra.
Imagine that the light is softening into a bright orange light.
Picture yourself in your preferred body of water,
Imagining yourself adapting and flowing with life's events.
Notice how your energy feels in this moment.
We're going to move our energy upward into our belly,
Associated with our third chakra,
Our solar plexus.
Imagine the light transforming into a warm yellow light.
Imagine yourself savoring the sun on your skin,
Feeling empowered in your life.
Notice how your energy feels in this moment.
Now bring your awareness up into your heart,
Connected to your fourth chakra,
The heart chakra.
Our energy light is now vibrating as a green light,
Emanating a forest,
A field,
Or a garden.
Emanating the emotional state of being loved unconditionally.
Notice how your energy feels in this moment.
Now bring your awareness to the center of your throat,
Related to your fifth chakra,
The throat chakra.
Imagining the light emanating as a brilliant blue sky,
Gazing up at the clouds.
Imagine yourself expressing your truth,
Trusting that you are being understood.
Notice how you feel in this moment.
Begin to shift your focus up into the center of your forehead,
In between your eyebrows,
Your sixth chakra,
Your third eye.
Our energy light emerging into an indigo light,
A shimmering blue-purple.
You're now floating above the clouds,
High in the sky.
You have a sense of profound inner understanding.
Notice how your energy feels in this moment.
Finally,
Let's move our awareness to the top of our head,
Our seventh chakra,
Your crown chakra.
Our energy light expanding into a violet light,
Extending above the sky and into the heavens.
You're weightlessly floating into space.
There's no up,
There's no down,
There's no left,
There's no right.
Just expansiveness and spaciousness in you.
You are connected to everything around you.
Notice how you feel in this moment.
Allow your awareness to the sensation of the energy throughout your body,
Along your spine,
From your crown to your toes.
You might even sense energy extending beyond your physical form.
While the energy is ever-changing,
It reveals what remains constant,
Your awareness.
Embody the unchanging awareness.
Start to bring awareness back to your physical body,
Feeling your body on the ground by focusing on your hands and your feet.
Your chest and abdomen.
When you hear me count down from five,
That will indicate the end of this yoga nidra session.
Having practiced sensing the energy within you,
You can now effectively direct that flow in your life to manifest your needs.
