Hi,
My name is Dika and in today's practice,
We're going to literally shake it up.
It's designed for those moments when things maybe haven't been going according to plan,
Or when there just has been this general undercurrent of irritation or activation,
Undefined emotional energy.
You can't really put your finger on it,
But it's there.
Or in those moments when you're noticing,
I've just been living and getting stuck into my head,
Taking things way too seriously.
And it's time to bring back a little bit of aliveness and playfulness.
This practice is going to be perfect.
It's going to be fun and very powerful at the same time to really regulate your system,
To cleanse,
To let go of anything that's not serving and to really come back home into your body,
Into your feminine essence.
Marks the end of this practice.
So let's begin.
I'm going to invite you to come to standing.
But for now you can either sit or already stand up.
Take a moment here to close down your eyes.
Maybe placing your hands in front of your chest in a prayer.
And just say thank you to yourself,
Honoring yourself for showing up and for grabbing this practice.
You And so then I'm going to be meeting you in a standing position over here.
And I want us to start off by just sort of shaking out the hands.
Giving your arms a little shake and a little shimmy.
And maybe your legs already join too.
And then from here,
Let's take three deep in and exhales all together.
Deep breath in.
Exhale,
Open mouth,
Relax jaw,
Sigh it out.
And again,
Deep breath in,
Keep shaking at least your hands.
And exhale,
Sigh it out.
And once more,
Deep breath in.
And exhale,
Side out.
Amazing.
And then we're going to bring the focus initially a little bit to our legs.
So planting the feet a little bit wider than hip distance apart.
And I just want you to sort of bend one knee,
Bend the other knee.
And then find your own rhythm.
And through that also,
You're sort of just relaxing and moving to hit.
Moving the hips side to side.
And just creating a little bit of a shake and activation and awakening in the legs.
So that we're not having the legs super tight and activated.
We want the legs and the hips to be relaxed.
And it might help to sort of move weight from one leg to the other.
And maybe even having the knees sort of moving them in and out,
Creating a little bit of a different stretch,
A different activation.
Amazing.
And then from here,
You can stretch out one leg,
Some hip circles and testing out a bit of your balance.
And doing that also on the other side.
Amazing.
Shaking out one leg.
And shaking out the other leg.
Beautiful.
And then from here,
We're going to make some.
Rotations with one arm.
So big circles.
So just waking up the shoulder.
And at the same time,
I'd like to sort of bend my knees a bit,
A little bounce while I'm doing so.
And rotating the other way around.
Amazing.
And also the other side,
Other arm.
Big circles.
Warming up that shoulder,
That arm.
And also the other way around.
Amazing.
Beautiful.
I'm just moving the arms,
The legs at the same time.
A little funky,
A little free flow,
A little play.
And then from here we're going to start shaking the body.
I'm just shaking it out,
Shaking it off.
And so I'd like to plant my feet down,
But you can also keep moving around a bit.
The main thing is just an activation of the body,
A bit of playfulness.
And through that the energy can flow,
Anything can flush out,
Anything can move on.
Okay,
So arms down by your side and how I like to do that is I link it up,
Sync it up with my breath.
And also even add some sound for some extra effectiveness.
So try that out if you haven't done that before.
Adding breath,
Movement,
And sound all together is the most powerful way.
I call them the three feminine keys.
Take it out of your head,
Into your body,
And connect to your feminine energy.
Okay,
So I'll start with a breath in.
And on that exhale,
I sigh it out and I allow my body to start shaking from there.
And that's kind of how I continue,
Sometimes taking a deep breath.
Otherwise,
Just more of a free flow,
Shaking it off.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Ha,
Ha,
Ha,
Ha,
Ha,
Ha,
Ha.
So you might want to use the arms sometimes up or out wide to shake it off.
Maybe shaking off the leg into the air or maybe just bouncing and jumping around a bit.
Ha ha ha ha ha!
But no matter what you're doing,
Keep moving,
Keep shaking.
You might like to even imagine.
That you're just shaking off any stress,
Any worries,
Any tensions.
Any thoughts that are not yours.
We're not serving anymore.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I sometimes like to say,
A shake a day keeps the doctor away.
It's a really,
Really powerful way.
To move the energy,
To move the body.
The let go of any stagnation.
Into great more aliveness.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa BLBLBLBLBLBLBLBLBLBLBLBLBLBLBLBLBLBLBLBLBL Yes,
Keep shaking,
Keep moving,
Keep playing.
Ha,
Ha,
Ha,
Ha.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
OOF!
Last minute or so here.
Keep moving,
Keep shaking,
Keep bouncing.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa URGH!
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Ah-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
Let's do one more breath together.
Deep breath in.
Exhale,
Sigh it out,
Shake it off,
Make a sound.
Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha.
Amazing.
And then from here,
Allowing the movements to become a little softer,
A little smaller.
Ah,
And slowly,
Slowly.
Coming back to stillness.
And so either you want to.
.
.
Stand in stillness to integrate.
Sit.
Or even lie down,
You can choose.
Whatever.
Works for you.
But we're going to have a few moments of stillness.
Just to let all of that energy settle.
And just allowing yourself to become a witness.
Of what's alive in your body right now.
Of any sensations.
Thoughts,
Emotions.
And these three bells mark the end of this practice.
So slowly bringing a little bit of movement back into your fingers.
I'm placing the hands in front of your chest and a little namaste.
Just thanking yourself for showing up.
