Hi,
My name is Dieke and welcome to the Femme Embodiment Quest.
This is day number 13 and the theme of today is love.
That means we're going to be working with the heart during the embodiment practice.
And specifically,
We're going to be focusing on sort of like expanding,
Opening the heart,
Connecting to your breath.
And also sort of rewriting what love and loving is.
Because many of us have been taught this sort of idea that in order to love,
We need to give.
That it's something that sort of like moves outwards.
However,
The heart is a feminine power center.
The feminine is not so much about giving,
But more about receiving.
And basically,
I'd like you to think about the concept that loving is not so much giving,
But it's more about receiving,
Allowing yourself to receive love.
From yourself,
From existence,
The fact that you are alive from others,
And through that the idea that By you receiving love,
You're basically filling up your own cup,
You're filling up your own fountain.
And then at some point,
Because you're just allowing yourself to receive love,
Your fountain becomes overflowing.
And that's how others around you are being loved.
Just because you are being you,
Because you are loving yourself,
You are being receptive.
And so in that way,
Loving and love itself becomes way more easeful,
Relaxed,
Soft.
True,
Authentic,
Deeply embodied,
Because now it's not so much you're trying to give from an empty cup or get somewhere because you're giving.
You're not searching for it outside of yourself.
Instead,
You're bringing the awareness,
The attention back to yourself.
Allowing yourself to receive love,
That's going to be the intention and the focus of today's embodiment practice.
So let's give that a try.
We're going to start off sitting in a cross-legged seated position,
So make sure that you're comfortable here.
I personally like to sit on a little bolster or a cushion.
It gives a little lift in my hips,
Making it even more easeful and comfortable to sit here.
One bell marks the start,
Three bells mark the end of this practice.
You can place your hands in front of your chest or on your breasts or on your heart.
And just tuning in with that word of today,
Love.
And so we're going to start off exactly there,
Placing your hands on your heart.
You can close down your eyes.
Let's take a deep breath into this space below your hands into your heart.
Exhale,
Side out.
Another deep breath in.
Into your heart.
Let your chest expand.
Exhale,
Soften.
And once more,
Deep breath in.
And exhale,
Let it go.
And then from here,
Bringing a little bit of movement.
Into this area by touching and caressing,
So physically connecting to your breath.
Gently stroking,
Caressing here.
Decide.
Your chest.
Just above the breath.
So gently massaging,
Gently touching,
Caressing.
And the moments you just pause and hold your breasts,
Just cupping them.
And connecting to that essence of love and nourishment that they hold.
Maybe one breast at a time,
Gently massaging.
I actually highly recommend and often,
Um,
Yeah,
Teach women also really how to give themselves a proper breast massage.
It's very beneficial for many reasons.
And it's a really powerful way to connecting to love.
Connecting to the other breath.
Gently holding squeezing massaging.
And so biologically they are designed to nourish.
Provide.
Milk.
Nourishment but also energetically therefore they are very Yeah,
The source of nourishment,
But often we.
.
.
Give that away as women,
Caring about others.
Being compassionate,
Loving.
Holding up so many balls that we forget to love ourselves and actually to nourish ourselves first.
So again,
Just coming into a hold of your breasts after massaging.
And now from here,
Just tapping on your chest a little.
Tapping on your heart.
And at the same time,
Connecting to the sound,
Ah,
As the sound of the heart.
Often we tend to store.
Yeah,
Unprocessed feelings,
Emotions,
Kind of creating a wall around our heart.
So with the tapping seed,
We can gently sort of tap that loose.
Combining that with that sound.
It doesn't have to be a perfect ah,
Just exploring different ways,
Just seeing how your heart wants to sound.
Let's do that three times,
One more time.
Beautiful.
And then from here,
Placing your hands back into your heart center.
And then on the in-breath,
Opening your arms wide.
Stretching,
Open your heart on the exhale,
Bringing your hands back towards your heart.
So in breath,
Opening.
As if you're opening the doors to your heart.
And on that out breath,
You're allowing yourself to receive,
So almost like you're scooping the love,
Which is everywhere around,
Omnipresent,
In the universe,
Into your heart.
In breath,
Opening.
Out breath you're receiving.
Imagining that you're just like a fish in the water,
Where the ocean is love.
So you're just swimming in love.
Allowing yourself to receive,
Filling up your own fountain in breath.
Opening your heart,
Letting the walls dissolve.
Out breath.
Scooping love.
Into your heart,
Allowing yourself to receive.
Love into your heart,
And from there,
Imagine it spreading into your entire body,
Filling up your fountain.
So continuing that arm movement.
In breath opening.
Out breath.
Bringing love to your heart,
Allowing yourself to receive.
You can even lean back a little bit,
That gesture of receiving,
So you're not leaning forwards to grab it,
Let it come to you.
Let's do that three more times,
In breath.
Opening.
To love.
Out-breath receiving.
In breath,
Opening.
Out breath,
Receiving.
In breath,
Opening the love.
Out breath receiving love.
Filling up your own fountain.
Now letting your hands rest at your heart.
And from here,
Just imagining for a moment.
That you are an overflowing fountain of love.
And so love is this something that you radiate.
It's not something that you have to do or give or make happen.
Just because you allow yourself to receive.
Yourself and everyone around is loved automatically.
And then one more time in breath,
Opening your arms wide.
And on the out breath,
Wrapping your arms around yourself,
Giving yourself a really deep,
Beautiful hug.
And saying some loving words to yourself.
I love you.
I'm here for you.
I care about you.
You're important to me.
Or whatever words are coming to you.
Expressing your love and your gratitude to yourself,
To your body.
And then bringing your hands to your heart.
Namaste.
You you And these three bells mark the end of this embodiment practice.
Thank yourself for showing up.
Maybe holding and squeezing your breasts one more time and make sure today to connect to your breasts here and there,
Remembering yourself that,
Oh yeah,
Love.
Is something I just get to receive just by being myself,
Just by leaning back more in life.
Thank you.
