Hello and welcome.
I invite you to take a moment to settle into your seat or lie down and let your breath begin to slow down.
There is nothing to do right now.
Just be here and breathe.
Imagine the ocean,
Vast,
Deep and alive,
The surface may shift with storm of stillness,
Always moving and changing,
Adapting,
But beneath it remains steady,
Grounded in its depth.
With your next inhale,
Imagine your breath be like a gentle wave,
Washing in and out.
Inhale,
A rising tide.
Exhale,
The letting go.
Again,
Inhale,
Rising tide.
Exhale,
The letting go.
You are like the ocean.
Thoughts may ripple,
Emotion may steer,
But beneath it all,
You are steady.
You don't need to control every wave.
You only need to be.
Let whatever's present on your way rise and fall,
Like water.
You don't need to fix it,
Just let it move it through.
Let yourself soften into spaciousness,
Into depth,
Into calm.
Now I invite you to say gently and silently to yourself,
I am the ocean,
I can hold this.
And again,
Maybe softer,
I am the ocean,
I can hold this.
When you are ready,
Slowly and gently return to your breath.
Connect and feel your body again,
Soft but held and supported.
This is the end of this short meditation.
And I wish you a good continuation of your day,
Perhaps feeling a bit more grounded.
