Welcome to this Yoga Nidra practice.
My name is Claire and I'm truly blessed and grateful to guide you through this Yoga Nidra for deep rest.
When you are ready please lie down and come into a very restful,
Relaxing position.
Make any adjustments you need to create space for deep relaxation.
Take extra time to grab props to support yourself.
Close your eyes welcoming a blanket of darkness as you turn your gaze inward.
Experience the remembrance of your body's intuitive need and necessity for rest.
Welcoming in rest was slowly softening and deepening your breath.
Experience the rise and fall of your breath,
Surrendering to the intelligence of your breath.
Feel your body held,
Supported,
Cosy as you relax,
Rest and breathe.
Nothing you need to do,
Nowhere you need to be,
Just allowing yourself well-deserved time for rest and rejuvenation.
Feel the support of the earth underneath you.
Let your nervous system be cradled and nourished by the practice of Yoga Nidra and the state of deep rest.
With this support is there anything you can let go of that you are holding on to now?
Relax your muscles and bones.
You may even imagine your mind is a muscle you can relax,
Resting and completely letting go.
Bring your attention to your senses.
Notice any lingering tastes in your mouth,
The sounds around you,
Sounds far from you,
Sounds closer to you,
Smells around you,
Imagines or flickering colors behind your eyelids,
The touch of the air on your skin.
Allow your senses to be open and alive.
Now begin to allow all the outward awareness to shift inwards,
Consciously inhabiting all of your body's inner landscape from crown to feet and all the spaces in between.
Begin peeling back layer by layer as your body,
Mind and spirit is nourished by rest.
Layer by layer unfolding your heart space and your Sankalpa or intention.
Your Sankalpa or heart's desire spoken in the positive as if it's already happening.
You may be working with a Sankalpa or choose to repeat,
I am honoring my body with deep rest,
Silently repeating your Sankalpa three times now.
We will now move through a rotation of consciousness,
A process of moving energy prana life force through the body point-to-point.
Experience sensation of energy in each point with the guidance of my voice.
Moving point-to-point you may like to imagine a healing light weaving through your body through each named part and welcoming in the sensation of prana life force in each point.
Beginning on the right side of the body,
Feel sensation of energy in the right hand thumb,
Second finger,
Third finger,
Fourth finger,
Little finger.
Experience sensation of healing light inside the palm of the right hand,
Back of the hand,
Middle of the wrist,
Lower arm,
Elbow,
Upper arm,
Shoulder joint,
Armpit,
Right side of the chest,
Heart center.
Sensation of energy travels down the right side of your waist,
Right hip,
Thigh,
Knee,
Ankle,
Heel,
Top of the foot,
Sole of the foot.
Feel energy in the right big toe,
Second toe,
Third toe,
Fourth toe,
Little toe.
Experience the sensation of pranic life force energy lighting up the entire right side of the body.
The whole right side of the body alive with pranic life force energy.
Take your time to float your awareness of sensation of energy over to the left side of your body.
Feel sensation of energy in the left hand thumb,

Experience sensation of healing light inside the palm of the left hand,
Back of the hand,

Back of the neck,

Experience the sensation of energy between the ears,
Right nostril,
Left nostril,
Upper lip,
Lower lip,
Tip of the tongue,
Base of the tongue,
Right side of the jaw,
Left side of the jaw,
Center of the throat,
Heart center,
Solar plexus,
Navel center,
Root center.
Experience the whole body right side,
Left side,
Front,
Back.
Sensations of pranic life force energy lighting up the whole body together.
Begin to imagine your body is being held and supported by warm soft sand underneath you.
Feel the warm rays of sunlight touching your skin.
Feel your whole body warm and supported.
Now feel a sense of coolness.
A cool ocean mist gently touches your skin.
The feeling of the cool ocean washes over you.
Now feel warm and cool at the same time.
Feel the sensations of warmth and coolness together.
Now in this deep state of relaxed awareness begin to visualize yourself in your favorite healing space in nature.
Perhaps noticing if there are flowers,
Birds,
Trees,
A body of water or mountains.
In this healing space visualize yourself completely healthy,
Completely whole.
Physically,
Emotionally,
Mentally and spiritually.
See yourself living out your dreams.
Your body and mind are perfectly healthy and whole as you continue to let go.
Let go completely.
Continue completely letting go.
Let your visualization go for now.
Know that everything is being taken care of by divine and you can deeply rest.
Enjoy resting in blissful awareness.
Know that you are perfect and whole resting here in silence.
Take your time bringing your awareness back to the space at the center of your heart.
Now is the time to bring your sankalpa or intention back into your heart space.
Repeating your sankalpa now or repeating I am honoring my body with deep rest.

Allowing this intention to radiate out in your being.
You may bring your awareness back to being aware.
Begin to feel all the cumulative benefits of the practice and the benefits of welcoming gratitude and the healing frequencies of nature.
Notice any shifts that may have occurred during your practice.
Begin to feel your fingers and toes,
Wiggling your fingers and toes,
Twisting your wrists and ankles.
Finding any gentle movements to reawaken your body.
Take a deep breath in and out.
Check in with what you are grateful for and what truly matters in your life.
