Close your eyes and take a deep breath in.

Feel the coolness of the morning air filling your lungs.

And release as you exhale,

Like the first sigh of the day.

Imagine you are standing at the edge of dawn.

The sky is painted with soft colors,

Pink,

Gold,

Silver blue.

The world is quiet,

Still holding its breath,

Waiting for you to step into it.

With every inhale,

The light of the morning enters you.

It fills your chest,

Your belly,

Your hands.

With every exhale,

You let go of the heaviness of yesterday.

Now bring your awareness to your senses,

The touch of air on your skin.

The faint taste of freshness on your tongue.

The gentle rhythm of your heart.

Say softly inside,

Today I choose presence,

Today I choose lightness.

Take one last breath,

Deeper than before.

And as you open your eyes,

Carry the light of morning within you.
