Good morning.
This practice is centered on affirmations and gratitude.
And especially at the start of a new day,
It can be supportive to begin in a positive direction.
Take a pen and paper,
Writing down can make it even more real.
Affirmation means creating supportive thoughts and feeling them.
You may notice that instead of stepping into the day with heaviness,
You can step into a day with a different mindset.
This practice asks for a bit of imagination,
And it might feel difficult today.
If that happens,
Simply notice that.
And don't be hard on yourself.
If it feels harder to connect right now,
There is nothing wrong with that.
Try it next time.
Close your eyes,
And welcome this new day.
We take a moment to wake up,
And to train the mind.
A new morning,
A new day.
A day filled with fresh opportunities to learn,
To grow,
To dance,
To sing.
To do whatever makes you feel joyful.
A day where you can support yourself in feeling well.
Where you can notice the difference between thoughts that are against the current and feel heavy,
And thoughts that move with the current and makes you more resilient.
Every day is a new chance.
The world is open,
Many things are possible.
Not feeling good is possible,
And often easy because of how our brain works.
But enjoyment is also possible,
By training it like you just do now.
So,
Take a moment to pause,
And acknowledge this new day.
Now,
Take a moment to feel into what would you like to experience today.
If nothing comes to mind,
Here I got some examples what you can say to yourself.
That I move through the day without heaviness.
That all today's heaviness will slide off of me.
That I will enjoy the small things around me.
That I see myself and allow myself to be here,
With all my qualities.
That I look for the good in others,
Even when it's obvious at first.
That I today will remember that resistance I feel is growth,
And I will respond with wisdom.
That the day will include with humor and laughter.
And that mistakes become learning moments,
And I'm not afraid to make them.
Now ask yourself again,
What do I want to experience today?
Maybe it's pausing more often today,
And take a walk in nature.
Enjoy the sun,
Or maybe enjoy the moon if it's there.
See the plants and the trees,
Maybe you see some beautiful architecture.
Simple moments you can actually notice.
And when you think about how you want to feel today,
What comes up to mind?
It can be joyful,
Happy,
At ease,
Maybe energized and ready to take action.
Feeling proud,
Wanting to be surprised,
Loved,
Satisfied,
Maybe you want to feel safe.
And stay with that for a moment,
And feel that in the body.
Where do you notice that?
Where does it live inside of you?
And for a few breaths simply stay with that feeling.
Bring to mind something you are grateful for.
Maybe a person you feel deeply grateful for,
That this person is in your life.
And take a moment to picture them,
As if they are around you.
What it's like to sense them,
Even for a moment.
What does it bring up in you?
And what else do you feel grateful for?
Maybe you include this body of yours.
Maybe it doesn't always do exactly what you want,
And still it carries you.
It breathes for you.
It supports you.
And sometimes we abandon ourselves.
But today is another chance.
Not to abandon yourself,
But to take care of yourself,
Even if it's in a small way.
What do you feel?
And where do you feel that in your body?
And what it's like to be with this feeling?
Now take a long deep breath.
And recognize what a gift it is to step into a new day.
A new opportunity to enjoy.
To bring out the best in yourself.
Not because you should,
But because it's what you truly want.
What else you long for?
What else you would like to have in your life?
For me,
One of those is freedom.
Freedom often lives in small things.
Choosing when I do something.
Choosing how I want to respond.
And not in a social acceptance way,
But my way.
And even if life is busy,
Freedom can still be present.
Because I can make the choices for myself.
And even if it doesn't always feel that way,
Even when there is pressure to deliver something,
There are still choices.
Small ones,
But also big ones.
Don't let your life to be decided for you.
Take action in the direction that makes you feel free and happy.
Maybe you have other core values.
What are those?
What feels essential for you to have a good day?
Take a moment to reflect on this.
Maybe it's honesty,
Doing what feels right.
Maybe it's appreciating others,
Regardless of the background,
Ideas or perspectives.
Maybe taking responsibility for your actions and decisions and take the consequences.
Maybe it's balance,
Creating a balanced environment for you and your family.
It can also be giving yourself and others support in health and well-being.
What matters most to you?
And what it's like to live from that.
To live closer to those values.
Can you feel that in the body?
And if you were here to describe it,
What would it say?
And how would it be if you could live from that more and more?
And if it's not clear yet,
That's also okay.
Do this practice every time,
Again and again.
And sometimes just simply reflecting,
Now open something later in the day.
A moment where you suddenly know what you need.
See this day as a new round,
Filled with new chances and possibilities.
You only have to notice them,
And choose,
And live your life.
