The thinking mind is a lot like a dog: loyal, protective, eager to help, and sometimes completely underfoot. In this lighthearted talk, we’ll look at the mind’s tendency to chase problems, revisit old thoughts, get caught up in drama, and bring the same “stick” back again and again. Rather than trying to silence or control the mind, this perspective offers another possibility: letting the mind be a mind while recognizing it isn’t in charge. A playful exploration of thought patterns, overthinking, self-awareness, and our relationship with the thinking mind.
