And you're back.
Let yourself settle.
Allow your eyes to gently close,
Like delicate flower petals folding in at dusk.
There's no need to get anywhere.
No need to try.
You're already here.
Let your breath come and go naturally.
Let your body relax into gravity held by the earth.
Feel the gentle yet vital hum of life moving through you.
Now,
Stay in this space for a time.
What if there is no solid,
Separate you doing this breathing?
What if breathing is simply happening?
Notice how the body knows how to settle in naturally.
Notice thoughts come and go.
Allow them to arise,
Chatter,
And dissipate.
This is all part of the same field.
It's all energy in motion.
There's no need to hold or resist any of it.
It's all part of the same sacred space of now.
Within this wide and welcoming presence,
You find yourself already gliding along the soft dirt path to the garden.
As it reveals itself,
Notice how it has changed since your last visit.
You experience its diversity of colors,
Textures,
Shapes,
And smells.
Its very presence is lush and alive.
Many blossoms have opened,
Their colors dazzling and vivid.
There are also delicate herbs,
Tall grasses,
And plump berries glistening with dew.
There is so much beauty here,
Not because everything is perfect,
But because everything is just as it is.
You notice some plants are fading now,
Wilting gracefully back toward the soil.
Others are just beginning their return to the earth,
Curling,
Softening,
Becoming nourishment for something new.
And all of this,
Birth,
Bloom,
Decay,
And return,
Is part of the same great rhythm.
There is no wrong season here,
Only the deep wisdom of nature playing itself out in time.
In this space,
You may notice blooms that feel familiar,
Intentions that have flowered into clarity,
Plants that have risen into peace,
Or fruits that have ripened into juicy insights.
Perhaps there are some surprises too,
Things that have grown that you didn't expect,
Thorny doubts,
Tangled weeds of confusion,
Or a bare vulnerability that is now visible.
And yet,
Nothing is separate.
The seed,
The sprout,
The full blossom,
The falling leaf,
The doubt,
The peace,
The discomfort,
And the contentment are all expressions of the same wholeness.
Take a deep,
Nourishing breath,
And rest now in that natural rhythm.
If something in the garden feels ready to be harvested,
Perhaps a ripe fruit or a simple truth,
You don't need to reach for it.
Notice that it is already being received,
Simply through your present moment awareness.
Or perhaps notice that you already are it.
If something feels ready to fall away,
An old belief,
A worry,
Or a need to control,
Notice that it is falling away.
Allow this natural release to happen in its own time,
Its own way.
Even the acts of harvesting and releasing,
And the you that seems to be doing it,
Are just more appearances within this spacious awareness.
Harvesting is happening.
Letting go is happening.
Breathe here.
Feel the richness beneath the garden,
The deep soil of being,
The gratitude for the bounty of nature,
And the stillness beneath all motion.
What if there is nothing to make happen?
Nothing to fix?
Nothing to do?
Even silence is not something you need to create.
It has always been here,
Patiently holding everything.
Rest now,
Just for a moment,
In this wholeness.
The garden changes with the seasons,
It comes and goes,
But what you truly are,
This aware,
Quiet presence,
Remains untouched,
Constant,
And spacious.
And from that placeless place,
You might sense a deep contentment,
Not from doing,
But from being.
When you're ready,
Let the image of the garden gently dissolve,
Or stay,
It doesn't matter.
Let it be as it is.
Feel the rise and fall of the breath once again.
Feel the space around you,
And the support beneath you.
Let your senses gently reawaken,
The air on your skin,
The sounds of the world returning,
And gently open your eyes.
There is no boundary between you and life.
This moment,
Exactly as it is,
Is whole and complete.
Thank you for joining me on this meditative journey.
It's been a deep honor to sit with you in this unfolding.
If you feel moved to share your feedback,
I'd love to hear about your experience.
Remember,
Awakening can only ever happen right now.
Peace and love to you.
