Take a deep breath,
Breathe in through your nose,
Hold it for a few seconds,
Then slowly exhale through your mouth.
Repeat this breathing pattern several times,
Allowing your body to relax more with each exhale.
Feel your body becoming heavy and relaxed,
Supported by the surface beneath you.
Imagine yourself in a cozy,
Protective space.
This could be a favorite spot in nature,
A quiet room,
Or any place where you feel completely safe.
Visualize the details of this place,
The colors,
The sounds,
The scents.
Fully immerse yourself in the feeling of safety and comfort.
Gently bring to mind the situation or a person you wish to forgive.
Picture this situation in front of you,
Like a movie playing on a screen.
Observe this without judgment,
Simply acknowledging what happened and recognizing your feelings associated with this event.
Imagine yourself standing before the screen and begin to speak out everything you feel.
Express your emotions,
Whether it's anger,
Hurt,
Disappointment,
Or sadness.
Allow yourself to be completely honest and open,
Knowing that this is a safe space for expressing your true feelings.
Visualize a radiant energy shield forming around you.
This shield protects you and helps you feel secure as you work through the process of forgiveness.
Feel the strength and confidence that shield provides,
Helping you handle your emotions.
Imagine a soft light emanating from your heart and extending towards the screen with a painful situation or a person.
Allow this light to wash over the screen,
Softening and dissolving the hurt and resentment.
See the light bringing peace and healing.
Say to yourself,
Either silently or out loud,
I choose to forgive.
I release this hurt and pain.
Repeat this affirmation several times,
Feeling the tension and heaviness lifting with each repetition.
Visualize your heart filling with a warm,
Loving light.
Allow this light to fill your entire body,
Bringing peace and compassion.
Feel this light expanding,
Enveloping everyone you care about,
Even those you have forgiven.
Repeat the following affirmations to yourself or out loud.
I forgive and release the past.
Forgiveness brings me peace and freedom.
I am worthy of love and happiness.
I choose to let go of resentment and move forward with ease.
Forgiveness heals my heart and soul.
Gradually bring your awareness back to the present moment.
Notice your body,
Wiggle your fingers and toes and gently stretch.
Take a few deep breaths and when you feel ready,
Open your eyes.
