Trauma-sensitive meditations for gently reconnecting with the body. AnaLisa Rutstein is a trauma-sensitive meditation teacher and somatic healing guide who supports people in reconnecting with their bodies after trauma, chronic illness, or long periods of disconnection. Her work is shaped by her own lived experience with trauma, breast cancer, chronic illness, and a long journey of healing her relationship with food and body. A breast cancer and chronic illness survivor, AnaLisa combines nearly two decades of lived experience with professional training in mindfulness meditation, trauma-informed care, somatic practices, expressive arts, and embodied self-compassion. She is a graduate of the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield and serves as Practice Leader for the Sounds True Healing Trauma Program. Her gentle, spacious meditations emphasize nervous system safety and compassionate listening to the body.
