Life often pulls us outside of ourselves, making us focus on things like work, relationships, or future outcomes. This isn't inherently bad, but it can create stress, confusion, and a sense of smallness. We may believe our life's meaning depends on controlling external factors. However, life throws challenges we can’t control, like uncertainty about the future or the results of our efforts. This is Maya, the illusion of the material world. When we stop trying to control everything and simply accept the present, we reconnect with our true self, which is free of worry and full of resilience. Being grounded in our true nature aligns us with the flow of life, allowing us to be guided by the universe. By embracing the now, you might find clarity and guidance without actively seeking it. Present moment, true self, Maya, spiritual awakening, mindfulness, self-acceptance, let go of control, flow of life, personal growth, inner peace, universe guidance, stress relief.

Hello and welcome to today's meditation.

Today we will get in touch with our true selves to align with the universe and get guidance from the universe.

To start a meditation,

If you haven't already,

Be mindful of the space that you are present in and try to be relaxed and calm.

Let yourself be comfortable in any posture that you have.

And slowly close your eyes.

Let's be in touch with our breath and focus on the rhythm of our breath.

How breathing relaxes us and makes us more in touch with our body and less with our minds.

Oftentimes in our lives,

We are too invested in things that are going outside of ourselves.

And this is our chance to focus on things that are going inside of ourselves.

As you focus on different sensations in your body,

You realize that when you are focused outside of yourself,

You forget yourself in the downs of life.

Which is not a bad thing.

But it can make you feel stressed and small.

And it might make you feel that you lack meaning in your life.

But when we ground ourselves to the present moment,

To our true self,

Which becomes evident when we are focused on our body,

We become more in touch with our true self.

And it is totally okay for your mind to wander.

As when we are distracted by our minds and think about other situations in life,

Like our work,

Our relationships,

Our successes and failures,

Or maybe our future.

We depend on it and give it our utmost attention.

And this is all things that go outside of ourselves.

But it's important to know that what's outside of yourself is outside of your control.

Controlling the flow of our life is hard,

Because life always faces challenges that can be hard to control,

Like not knowing the results of your hard work,

Uncertainty about the future,

Or just not knowing the certainty about the reality of our true selves.

But when we are focused on our inside,

How we feel,

What we are thinking about,

Or who is thinking,

We become more and more aware of the illusion or maya,

Which is the deception or illusion of the material world.

When we become too invested in the world,

We lose ourselves in the world.

Or we lose ourselves in maya.

This has been the great teaching of Buddhism.

This moment allows you to let go of trying to control your situation,

How you feel,

How others behave,

And just accept what's happening right now,

Whether it makes you feel good or bad,

Whether the situation is outside of your control or in your control,

Or whether you have any expectations or not.

In this moment,

You can be fully relaxed and let go as you realize that as you let go,

You allow the universe to take you in its alignment and help you be guided by the force of the universe,

Which is sometimes also called love.

So let yourself be in this moment and allow yourself to receive the love and the guidance from the universe.

As when you are truly yourself in the being,

You might receive guidance from the universe without even asking.

I will let you be in this moment of peace and alignment with the universe for the rest of the time,

As much as you want.

And I will see you next time.
