Water travels immense distances to get to us.
When rainfall falls on our head,
We really stress and run away.
But what if we just stop for a second and realize this water that is pouring on my head actually traveled thousands of kilometers to get to me.
It was part of the sea where it came into contact with thousands of creatures,
Thousands of fish.
Then it came to the surface and it evaporated,
Retaking the energy from the sun.
After taking this energy,
It became part of the air and then gradually it went up and up and up until it became a cloud.
Then it was a cloud for a long time until one day it became so heavy that it condensed and fell back.
It fell and fell and fell and finally it ended up in your head.
For you to react that it's bad for you.
Everything in our lives travels a long distance.
It is a metaphor that can work for all parts of our life.
We work really hard to achieve something.
We love somebody and if we cannot find them,
We suffer for their love.
We long for their love.
It's the same with water.
It travels long distances not because it is bound to,
But because it loves.
And love is the force that drives all the phenomena because everything goes towards a consciousness which is at a higher level.
When we go through suffering and we realize different things during the suffering,
We evolve in the process.
And when this process happens again and again,
We realize more and more and more things about ourselves.
In the process of doing this,
We evolve consciousness.
This is the process which the universe goes through.
Everything in life,
Every creature,
Every stone,
Every element,
Every atom goes through this process.
Just imagine,
We are all made up of water.
But how does water become us?
Well,
It traveled thousands and billions of years,
Of light years,
To get to Earth in the form of an asteroid.
And it came from faraway galaxies that we cannot even imagine.
It comes to Earth and then,
With a very slow procedure,
It evolves,
Evolves,
Evolves into the complex human beings that we are today.
So life comes from water.
But why?
Why does water travel so much?
It travels because of love.
It travels because it wants to be aware of itself.
When I say love,
Love is the process of finding yourself.
When we love someone,
We see ourselves in them.
We see,
We feel.
We are feeling something important.
We are feeling ourselves.
When we really have this feeling,
We are actually recognizing our true self in a way.
We recognize our true self in them.
And when this happens,
We feel so bound and long for them.
Because in the end,
We all want to be aware of our true self.
This longing,
This travel is what moves us forward.
Thank you.
