They may help you maintain a positive outlook or mood regarding the birth process.

You have the power to do so.

Birth affirmations purpose is to remind you of a truth that you will help to reach your goal of a positive birth experience.

They affirm to you something you know that you may have forgotten and you need to remember again within yourself,

That guides and supports you.

And so let us begin.

Let us begin to focus on our positive affirmations.

My body opens outward and allows my baby to ease down.

I breathe easily.

I breathe fully.

I release my body with every slow breath I take.

With each exhale,

I release any tension or negative thought.

I am powerful.

The perfect people will be with me when I need them the most.

I breathe deeper into relaxation.

I put all fear aside.

I feel safe and I welcome my baby with joy.

I am relaxed and happy.

All the strength I need is inside me.

It always has been.

When the time is right,

My baby will be in my arms.

I have the love and support with those that surround me.

My baby trusts me and I trust the process.

I can't stop the waves,
