Tonight,

Let yourself drift into a different world.

A world where everything is slower,

Softer.

Imagine yourself standing at the edge of a quiet forest.

The sun has just set and the sky is melting into shades of deep blue and lavender.

In your hand is a lantern.

Old,

Crafted with beautiful golden ages and glowing with a soft amber light.

You take a step forward.

The forest air wraps around you like a blanket.

Cool,

Gentle,

Still.

As you walk,

The lantern lights a narrow path lined with tall trees whose branches sway in slow motion.

A feeling rising up from the ground beneath you.

A sense of being guided,

Supported and protected.

And ahead,

You see small fireflies blinking like stars that decide to come down and rest closely with their tiny lights creating a soft halo around you.

Feel your shoulders drop.

Your chest soften.

Your breath slow.

You continue walking until the trees open into a small clearing and the moss cradles your body perfectly.

The fireflies drift into the night and the moon settles above you like an ancient guardian.

Your last waking thoughts melt away as you feel yourself sinking deeper and deeper.

The forest holds you now.
