Bring awareness into your jaw.
Release tension in your neck.
Your shoulders.
Down your arms into your hands and fingers.
Let your back sink further into your position.
Relax your upper back.
Mid-back.
Lower back.
Relax your hips.
Down your legs to your feet and your toes.
Bring awareness into your entire back.
Is there anywhere that tension is still lingering?
Release that tension.
Let your body feel heavy and relaxed.
Inhale into relaxation.
Exhale.
Let go of any tension left in the body.
Notice the pause in your breath.
You inhale and before you exhale,
There is a small pause.
Bring awareness into this pause.
What is this pause?
Have you ever let yourself take a moment of stillness?
To be calm.
To be quiet.
To let go of expectations.
So you can bring in joy and happiness.
With each pause,
You can have a chance to reset.
To find freedom.
To breathe and just be in this moment.
Give yourself permission to accept what is.
And let go of what you think things should be.
How often do you really pause?

Pause to stillness.
Pause to calmness.
Pause to restoring.
Pause to freedom.
Pause to joy.
Pause to happiness.
Pause to arrive.
You find your pause in the toughest of times,
So you can find strength.
You find your pause and forgiveness.
So you can show love.
You find your pause in the present,
So you can see it as a gift.
With each new day,
Remind yourself to pause.
You will only come back now and when you're ready,
Open your eyes.
