Welcome to this guided meditation which was created to support you in connecting to your heart.
We're going to be working with the breath in a very soft,
Gentle,
And intentional way.
And this is going to help you bring more awareness to your heart space as well as support your heart into its pure,
Beautiful energy.
You can start to get comfortable and settled into a space where you won't be disturbed.
This can be sitting cross-legged,
In a chair,
Or lying down.
Honor your body's needs and choose whatever position feels best.
Once you're comfortable,
I'll invite you to gently place your hands on your legs or somewhere close to your knees or at your sides if you're lying down and face the palms upward so that you're in a position to receive.
If this doesn't feel comfortable for the wrists or for any other reason,
That's okay.
Trust what your body is communicating to you.
Now we'll gently close the eyes and start to connect with the breath.
Inhaling slowly and deeply through the nose and allowing a soft exhale to pass out through the nose as well.
We're going to do two more cycles of breath just like this.
Exhaling slowly and deeply through the nose and exhaling softly out of the nose.
Inhale and exhale.
Continuing to breathe at whatever pace feels supportive to you,
I'll invite you to bring your awareness to your heart space.
See if you can visualize it sitting right at the center of your chest.
Once you've honed in on this area,
Simply breathe into it.
Just like before,
We'll do a slow and deep inhale through the nose,
Breathing into the heart and an exhale either out the nose or the mouth,
Whichever feels best.
We'll do a few more breaths just like this,
Really focusing on breathing into the heart space and then exhaling out of it.
Take a moment to try this out and be kind to yourself.
There is no wrong way to breathe.

I'll now invite you to place one hand on your heart and one on your belly.
Keep breathing into your heart space and start to notice.
Do you feel anything beneath your hands?
Perhaps a growing warmth or a tingling?
It's okay if you don't feel anything in particular.
Keep breathing in and out.
You might feel something inside,
A gentle stirring or powerful emotions rising to the surface.
There's no need to do anything except sit and breathe in and out.
With hands still on the heart and the belly,
We're now going to connect to the energy of love.
Love in its purest form,
Available to all and accessible within you at all times.
When you think of the word love,
What comes to mind?
What do you feel in your body?
Where do you feel the sensation?
Whatever is coming up for you right now is perfect.
It is here to be seen,
Acknowledged and felt.
Stay with your breath,
Slow steady inhales and soft gentle exhales.
In your mind's eye,
Picture a vast beautiful ocean,
Its waves crashing onto the shore,
Powerful and strong.
This is the energy of love.
It can be found all around us in nature.
Tap to its essence,
Feel it in your body.
Now I want you to take this pure powerful feeling and infuse it into your breath.
Breathe love into your heart and exhale love out into the world.
Inhale drawing lots of loving energy into the body,
Focusing on the heart and exhale with an audible sigh.
Lots of love out into your space.
And now returning to the natural rhythm of your breath,
Letting it become a little softer,
A little less deep.
And just thanking yourself for showing up here today,
Sitting in the energy of gratitude and love.
Perhaps bringing both hands to the heart to close out this beautiful meditation and feeling the love that is within you and that surrounds you always.
