This experimental instrumental track is based on sounds collected from 5 medicinal plants found in pain relief herbal formulas. This project was conceived with the aspiration that listeners might receive the healing energies of medicinal plants through sound itself. Utilizing the PlantWave™ device (technology that translates the bioelectrical fluctuations of living plants into musical data), award-winning composer Yuval Ron has shaped these naturally occurring vibrations into a cohesive and expressive musical language. The signals from these plants were precisely orchestrated according to the proportional "dosage" of each plant within the pain relief formula, allowing the music to mirror principles of balance, synergy, and well-being found in the herbal medicine. This musical work features a contemporary chamber ensemble of musicians drawn from the LA Philharmonic and the Hollywood film music industry.
