Namaste.
If your mind won't stop right now and sleep feels far away,
Just stay here with me.
You do not need to fix anything.
You do not need to stop your thoughts.
We'll just let them pass together.
Let your body rest exactly as it is.
No need to adjust.
No need to get comfortable in a perfect way.
Just allow yourself to land here.
Gently close your eyes and take a slow easy breath in.
And a soft breath out.
Now just notice your breath.
No control.
No effort.
Just watching.
And with each exhale,
Feel your body soften just a little more.
And let the breath be slow,
Natural,
Easy.
Thoughts may still be there.
That's okay.
You do not need to push them away.
Imagine each thought like a cloud passing slowly across the sky.
You don't follow the cloud.
You don't hold it.
You just watch it drift.
And then gently come back to your breath.
Now bring your attention to your body again.
Feel your forehead softening,
Your jaw unclenching,
Shoulders dropping,
Chest rising and falling,
Your stomach relaxed,
Your legs heavy,
Your feet completely at rest.
With every breath out,
Feel yourself sinking deeper into the bed.
As if the surface beneath you is gently holding you.
There's nowhere to go,
Nothing to do.
No need to think ahead.
Just this moment,
Just this breath.
If thoughts come again,
Let them pass like clouds,
Like whispers.
You don't need to follow them anymore.
Just rest.
And allow sleep to come to you.
Slowly,
Gently,
Drifting into sleep.
