Hello,
My name is Kimberly.
Thank you for joining me today.
Before we begin,
Know that this meditation is designed to meet you exactly where you are.
You can listen to this while sitting comfortably,
Lying down,
Or while taking a walk.
This practice allows you to feel present and let your guard down.
So let's begin.
Whether you are moving or still,
Take a deep breath.
Right now,
Let your mind travel to the heart of an old growth forest in the Great Smoky Mountains.
Even if you aren't here on the trail with me,
Bring this forest to life in your mind's eye.
Look up at the canopy.
These trees have been witnesses to centuries of life.
They are built on patience,
Resilience,
And deep,
Quiet strength.
You are safe here.
You are supported by the wisdom of the earth.
Begin to move through this space.
As you walk,
Feel the weight of your day,
The to-do lists,
The stress,
The noise.
Acknowledge that the weight is there.
Don't judge it.
Don't fight it.
Just notice it.
Check in with yourself.
Where do you feel this weight in your body?
Just locate it.
Stand before one of these ancient moss-covered trees.
If you feel tension in your body,
We are going to clear it together.
Take a deep breath in and release a long sigh,
Letting that first layer of stress drift away from your body and into the air.
Again,
Breathe in and release,
Letting go of the tension that you're carrying.
One more time,
Inhale and release.
Feel yourself becoming lighter,
Clear.
Release it all into the air,
To the trees,
To the forest around you,
To the earth.
It is ready to hold all of this for you.
Now,
See the mist that you released into the air being drawn deep into the roots of a tree,
Down into the cool dark soil.
Watch as it's transformed.
See it traveling back up the trunk and out through the leaves.
Watch that vibrant,
Glowing green light emerge and float into the air.
Take a deep breath in,
As you watch this glowing green light come toward you.
Invite it into your lungs and your heart.
Let it fill the spaces where the worry used to sit,
Where the stress was,
Where the tension was.
This isn't just relaxation.
This is a renewed sense of alignment and possibility.
Feel the pulse of the forest sinking with your own.
Take a moment to simply breathe in this light.
You have released your burden and received a fresh charge of vitality.
As you move forward,
Carry this lighter body and stronger frequency with you.
You now have the wisdom of the Smokies in your bones.
Remember,
This forest is here waiting for you.
You can return to this place of restoration any time you need it.
When you feel ready,
Take your time to come back to the present moment.
Thank you for practicing with me today.
Namaste.
