Good morning and welcome.
Find a comfortable position,
Whether sitting or lying down.
Allow your eyes to close softly now,
As though they're being kiss-shot by the air.
Take a deep breath in through your nose.
Hold it gently for a moment,
And then exhale through your mouth,
Letting the air escape slowly.
And again,
Inhale deeply,
Filling your belly,
Filling your chest all the way to the top of your lungs.
Pause for a moment,
Holding the stillness,
And then exhale in a long gentle stream,
Releasing tension and releasing weight.
And now,
Imagine the world before sunrise.
Everything is quiet.
The sky is still dark,
But at the edge of the horizon,
The first light of dawn is gently breaking through.
And as you breathe in,
Picture this light slowly spreading,
Painting the sky with gold and pink.
And with every breath,
It grows even brighter.
And with every breath,
The world awakens.
See the golden light stretching across the earth.
It touches the hills,
The trees,
And finally,
It reaches you.
So feel it warming your skin,
Soft and gentle,
As though the morning itself is embracing you.
And with every inhale,
Draw this light into your body.
Feel it filling your lungs,
Your chest,
And your heart.
And with every exhale,
Let the light spread through you,
Reaching your arms and your legs.
Down to your fingertips and toes.
You are a vessel of morning light.
You are a sunrise in human form.
Allow yourself to glow softly from within.
And now,
Take a moment to bring your awareness to gratitude.
What are you thankful for in this moment?
Now it could be something small,
Like the breath you're breathing,
The gift of simply being alive.
So let gratitude rise with each inhale,
And let gratitude spread with each exhale.
So imagine the light entering your heart,
And with every breath,
Your heart expands,
Becoming more open,
More spacious,
And more radiant.
Your heart shines like the sun itself,
Spreading warmth and kindness outward.
So picture this light moving beyond your body now.
It flows into the room,
Filling every corner with peace.
It splits outward into your home,
Your street,
Your community.
Everywhere the light goes,
It carries calm,
Compassion,
And joy.
So take a moment to silently repeat words with your breath.
Breathing in,
I welcome this new day.
And breathing out,
I release what no longer serves me.
And now inhale,
I welcome possibility.
And exhale,
I release limitation.
So allow these words to flow with your breath,
Like a mantra carried on the rhythm of your breathing.
And now rest for a few moments in stillness.
Breathe naturally,
Like the morning light continues to shine within you,
Glowing brighter with each breath.
Feel your body alive,
Your mind refreshed,
And your spirit renewed.
You're ready to meet the day with calm and clarity.
You're ready to carry this light forward,
Into every word,
Every action,
And every step you take.
So take a slow,
Deep inhale now,
Filling with the fullness of the morning.
Pause gently at the top,
And then exhale completely.
And now,
Slowly bring your awareness back to your body.
Feel the surface beneath you.
Notice your fingers and toes now,
And begin to move them gently.
Even roll your shoulders if you like.
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes softly,
As though you're seeing the world for the very first time.
Carry this morning light within you,
Knowing you can return to it anytime,
With just one breath.
And the memory of the sunrise is inside your heart.
Namaste.
Namaste.
