Good morning.
Find yourself in a comfortable position that will allow you to remain alert,
Easing into your space,
Gently settling in.
Perhaps sit with your legs crossed and place your hands in your lap or on your knees.
Ensure your spine is tall and extended and your chin tucked in.
And when you're ready,
Gently close your eyes.
Shifting your attention to the breath now,
Observing the state of the breath,
Beginning to energize the breath,
And now taking a long,
Deep breath in and a long,
Deep breath out.
Releasing any fatigue or tension your body may be holding and livening the mind and soul,
Allowing yourself to experience feelings of excitement and anticipation for the day ahead.
So take a long,
Deep breath in and a long,
Deep breath out,
Allowing this positive energy to flow through your body,
Allowing each inhale to make you feel more alert,
Awake,
And energized,
And allowing each exhale to release anything that you wish to let go of.
Following each breath with a sense of gratitude and positivity for a new day,
An opportunity to start fresh,
To enjoy every moment to the fullest.
Feel the way your body relaxes into the surface beneath you,
The way your body feels in this moment.
Relax your shoulders,
Relax your jaw and just let it hang loose.
Relax your eyebrows,
Allow all parts of your body to become soft and still,
Just like your breath.
Now try to invite a smile to your face,
And as it does,
Shift your attention to the top of the head and allow the smile to relax this part of your body.
Allow your smile to relax your forehead,
Your eyes,
Your cheeks,
Your nose,
Your lips,
And your jaw.
Allow the smile to relax all the muscles in your face,
Allowing the smile to move down to the neck,
Shoulders,
And chest.
Allow the smile to spread to your arms,
Your elbows,
Your forearms,
Your hands,
And even your fingers.
Moving down to your belly,
Pelvis,
And hips.
The smile is soothing these areas,
Allowing them to soften.
Moving down to your thighs,
Knees,
And feet,
Allowing your smile to relax the lower body.
And now,
Allowing your smile to fill your entire body,
Notice how good it feels to smile and how good it feels to be relaxed by it.
And just rest in this peaceful relaxation for as long as you need,
Allowing the smile to fade naturally.
And now that your body is feeling more awake and energized,
It's time to open your mind to positive thoughts that will carry you through the day.
If at any point in your day you feel overwhelmed,
