I have been uneasily contemplating whether or not my intended work after I complete my doctorate (next year, if things continue to go well) will be necessary or well-received despite indicators that it will be. Maybe that's impostor syndrome at work again, but regardless of the cause, these affirmations reminded me that if even one person benefits from what I have to share with the world - which is truly designed to help heal - then it is all worth it.
